  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

For me it would probably be Amos Alonzo Stagg he was a famous football coach he was an archetect of modern football and also he was a believer in Christ. But since 'm getting into coaching Tony Dungy, Mark Richt, and Bobby Bowden.

Lord, I lift up Frame1520 to you right now! Lord, I pray that You would heal his pain in this very moment. I pray that You would give him a healing experience that would show him it could only be You, Lord. I pray that when Satan tries to trick him into thinking he wasn't healed at this moment, that You would remind him that You took this back problem away, and that he would claim that in Your precious name, Lord, Jesus. In Jesus' name I pray. Amen!!

Frame, be sure, when/if you start to feel the pain coming back, just say out loud "I rebuke you Satan in the name of Jesus - I have been healed!" Satan has to obey!

I absolutely, 100% think peoples' lives would be better if they revolved it around that of Jesus and spent their days in prayer. I think if people looked to Jesus instead of the world, their needs would be met every time AND more efficiently. As the word clearly states, we reap what we sow, and if we sow a little, we reap a little... imagine the things He would do for one who reaps a lot, giving their every moment to Him and giving their everything. God is faithful and He wants to bless us, we just need to allow Him to do so!

Okay... preaching a little!! HAHA

Have you ever witnessed a healing of someone else?

No. I have heard of people being healed. The drummer in our band has known people to be healed, and I've heard of them thru him. I believe that God can do anything. We can't put God in a box. Some people might contend, well, theres no such thing as healing people anymore, Jesus and the apostles just did that to prove Jesus was who he said he was, or that salvation could be given to gentiles as well, etc. God can do anything, and to those people I say prayer is powerful, and God can work thru anyone, if it is His will.

Yes, several, including myself. I had hip problems since I was 10 and it would bother me really bad, but only when it was cold. The summer I turned 17 it was so bad that I couldn't touch my toe to the ground without collapsing. I went to service and was praising God on one foot when I heard Him tell me to stand on my my right foot (the side where my hip was in pain), the first few times I shrugged it off, like "don't be silly, I will collapse" but then I decided to do it, not understanding why He was asking me that, and the pain was gone. I could dance on it and jump on it. Everyone witnessed the pain I was in, and saw that I was healed. Since that day, I have not had pain in my hip at all. Praise God! I am not sure if this counts where it is what I experienced, but it is just such an awesome story I wanted to share it!

Have you ever raised your hands in praise?
