It has come to my attention if you use products created by Nestle, Kraft, Cadbury, Starbucks, PepsiCo, and until recently Campbells and Solae, you are using products created in part by the use of aborted fetuses to find enhanced flavors.

Here is a list of just some of the products that have "artificial flavors" made from experimentation with human aborted fetuses: Kraft Mayonnaise, Pepsi, Nestle Chocolate Milk, Starbucks Iced Coffee Drinks, Nestea, Nestle Ice Cream products and Kraft Salad Dressings.

San Diego-based Senomyx, a developer of products for the flavorings market, said today that it has inked a deal with Cadbury Adams USA LLC, a unit of Kraft Foods. According to Senomyx, the deal covers development and worldwide commercialization of certain novel flavor modulators, for potential use in gum and medicated confectionery products. Senomyx said that Cadbury Adams will pay the firm development funding and payments upon certain milestones, as well as royalties. Specific financial details of the deal were not disclosed.

Also those products were around long before abortions were done on the up and up. That is, abortions were done down the dark alley or at home back in the 20s - 60s, and those products were available at that time.
I think that group is just trying to use some kind of shock-treatment.

Additives made by this company is for increase the enticement via taste, smell, and addictiveness. Just like the secret formulas that were used in cigarettes to make them more addictive.

Senomyx: Sensing the Future through Innovation

From the Senomyx website: We have discovered or in-licensed many of the key receptors that mediate taste in humans. Having isolated human taste receptors, we have created proprietary taste receptor-based assay systems...has enabled us to improve our ability to find novel flavor enhancers...As a result, we have synthesized and discovered hundreds of unique potential flavor enhancers and taste modulators."

Translation: Senomyx is re-inventing food and flavor by genetically engineering taste bud receptor cell triggers. Foods of the future will contain "flavor enhancers" which fool human taste buds into perceiving the sensations of sweetness, sourness, saltiness, and bitterness.

Remember the artificial sweetener controversies? Chemical sugar-replicating compounds are listed on food labels. The new chemicals made by biotech companies will require no such labels. Although they are not actual flavors, they will be called "artificial flavors."

Patent article

Just typing in HEK-293 into a search engine provides a wealth of information about the uses it has in research, and goes into depth about the taste project.

does the thought of fetuses being used to
enhance the taste of the food you just ate bother you?
Didn't you see this:
You're asking one of the most ardent Defenders & Protectors of LIFE...

When I was in Nursing-school, I had never even heard
the word abortion, let alone know what murder it stood for.
When they told me, and that I'd need to rotate thru the Abortion-clinic,
I screamed & fainted. On awakening, I screamed: Get me out of here!!
I'm NOT!!! going to participate in the MAFIA=murder for hire.

I'm suspicious of the whole thing....google searching did not turn up one reputable
site that supports this assertion. Just a lot of non-mainstream sites that I would
not trust. Would like to see something from a reliable source...

To be clear, none of the fetal cells are going into food. They use the cells for testing new flavors, which is bad enough when there are several non-controversial alternatives to using fetal cells.
HEK 293 – human embryonic kidney cells taken from an elective aborted baby to produce those receptors.
Food and HEK 293

My next question is: how do they get these babies to experiment on?

That is what I thought when I read the information. Like Chava said, none of the sites looked credible anyway.

Technically, it seems that the issue of foods being made from people isn't new...as it concerns the subject of cannibalism since the culture has long been doing so for a long time.
