So several of the kids @ church had their high school prom(s) last weekend, and Sunday morning they were talking about the different dances they did (some couldn't believe they actually *gasp* did "the chicken dance" ). Then they asked me about my high school prom, and I said, "yeah, we did 'The Macarena'",

and ONE of my students says, "Really? The macarena? I didn't realize that song was that old."

we don't pay as much attention to detail as we did years ago.

I was somewhat of a perfectionist when I was younger. As a musician I wouldn't let a song rest until I copied the tune to the letter. Today I learn a song well enough to please the crowd and make it through the gig, no more staying up late going over a tune. The basics will do just fine. Denny

Lavander perfume - my granny always used to wear it and I would wrinkle my nose up ay it - old lady smell! But now I actually like it, and whats worse, my daughter who is 30, also likes it and she thinks its because she's getting old!!!

We have a bean feast instead of proms - nothing to do with beans - but at my one, we pogo-ed.
