You know, this isn't that much different than full-term abortion:

What's this in reference to?

Comments made by Virginia Governor Ralph Northam; see below. Granted, this was a little bit ago (January of last year), but the discussion is still out there, and the idea that our society would allow an infant to be born alive, and then "the mother and the physician would have a discussion" to decide whether or not to kill the child is disturbing, to say the least.

Now, he is talking about infants that are "deformed or not viable", not healthy infants---but if anybody thinks that the Left would let that small caveat stand in the way of their agenda is naive. And if the infant is "not viable" (meaning it's going to die anyway), then okay, do what you can for it, and if it dies, it dies---but killing it outright is a whole different can of worms. A child is not a cell phone picture, where if you don't like the way it came out, you can just erase it and take another one.

As for deformity, well, I really would like to believe that mankind has advanced somewhat from the days of the mid-Roman Empire, when deformed infants were taken out and abandoned on windswept hillsides, to die from exposure and animal predation----but maybe I'm wrong. But let's face it: tossing a kid into the snow is no different from killing it with an injection of poisonous drugs....or from drowning it in a bucket of water, for that matter.
