You just never know what the Lord is doing.
I have had such an upsetting day today and so many things seemed to go wrong, and yet I am seeing how the Lord works all things togther for good. I hope that all of the things today do work for good.
I got upset at my son's soccer game because some of the parents were yelling at their children who are just first graders and one boy sat down in the middle of the field and put his head down because his mom was yelling at him. I was so upset about everything that happened (foul language and other stuff) that I was ready to have him quit the team, but now I have realized that I need to pray for those children and their families.
Then this afternoon, my 13 yo dd was at a school event and her ride home left without her due to a mix up and she called me and told me she had been left there and I was quite upset, but she wound up getting a ride home. Then the people who were giving her a ride home - their car broke down. But, their dd wound up coming to our church young people's meeting with our dd and is spending the night and will go to church with us tomorrow morning too.
We have been praying for her and for her family and wanting them to go to church with us - they don't have a church that they meet with and we have been burdened for them for a while now.
So, perhaps the Lord is using this to bring this family to Him and to get them to begin attending church again.
