  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

You just became President

1) Implement and execute a plan to be the first country to be completely powered by solar and wind energy. We can already do this with modern technology and have plenty of space for it, and it would be affordable and the in the long run save Americans millions and help secure the environment.

2) Secure permanent net neutrality, preferably in the form of a constitutional amendment. ISPs have no right to take out their disputes with web companies and websites out on their customers or use internet speed to influence their customers. All websites should receive equal service.

3) Establish a single-payer healthcare plan. Whether this is done by expanding medicaid to cover all Americans or some other plan. Health insurance is not something that should be bought, but provided. It will also drive down healthcare costs as it will allow our system to have more buying power.

You just became the President of the United States of America, what are the most 3 important things for you to get done.

1. Dissolve the military structure. We now live the motto "In God We Trust"
2. Begin immediate investigations into the past activities of all members of government. Prosecute offenders to the fullest extent
3. Repeal all law excepting law against harming another

1)End abortion with the exception of when a mother's life is in danger.

2)Implement better services for the mentally ill and change some laws that are tough on people living with mental illnesses.

3)Make Freemasonry illegal.

With out making this one of my three but on my first day in office I would announce that we are once again a Christian Nation.

1. I would make every American company that is taking its product to china to prove to us that they have to go to China or they will no longer exist. First they must prove that they have to go to China or die, second they have to prove that they cant go to Mexico first.
I believe in loving our neighbor. If you must leave the country to make your product you must first chose Canada or Mexico and if not you must prove that you have to go to China to survive. If you can and do go to China you are no longer allowed to hold business in the USA and you can have no offices here.
By making them go to Mexico we would be giving our neighbors a helping hand and they would no longer have to come here which would solve the illegal immigration thing. All people from Latin America would immigrate to Mexico to live and our border problem solved.

2. I would eliminate big government. I would disband the BATF and all other law enforcement agencies at the Federal level except the FBI and the US Marshals Service and Border Control. I would reintroduce Presidents Bushes Homeland Security policy and make the American people be a big part of government such as CERT and local militias. Militias that the local Sheriff will run and they will be volunteers and local government will not have to spend so much on law enforcement and emergency medical teams as everybody will be trained in basic EMS. I would make law that every citizen would be issued an M-14 at birth and they can take possession of it after one year of military service do to the new draft.

3. I would go over every law that has been implemented since the 1950's and eliminate as many as I possibly could to let Americans be free once again. 200 years of law making has enslaved us.

1) All American car manufacturers must revive the 1950's models using modern technology of course (generous tax discounts/reduced fees to those who buy/own these cars even if used or vintage)

2) 50's themed establishments, products, even houses/property will have generous discounts on fees/taxes. Of course it must be clean and orderly to qualify.

3) Eliminate poverty by every means possible and stimulate economy at the same time #1 and #2 comes into play here! :) This way, we could help the poor get better standards of living, limit/reduce the population, reduce crime, and look incredibly nice and cool at the same time. :)

With all due respect, in a fallen world we need to have SOME protected. In God we trust does NOT mean that we do not not do our part, NOR does it mean it is not wrong to not allow people to walk all over us.

This is why I would be immediately impeached from office. I had to stop at 3; but 4 would be "tender my resignation from office" and be henceforth known to history as "Crazy John"

But don't forget one thing: I didn't vote myself into office!

China is a major trading partner of USA they also buy a lot of American products. If you pull out the outsourced jobs there, it would plunge China to recession and it would also cause US economy to dive.

Economy requires a sustained growth (on average) that is to avoid a recession. It's the inherent weakness (fatally stupid flaw) because it obviously requires population growth and as it is we are now facing dire problems with overpopulation...

All the fundamental issues in our world today is due to a flawed economic system and false religions. Our love of money is what's making us blind to this fact, hence, "the love of money is the root of all evil" and the result is quite literal in our world today.

How would you do that from the Executive Office?
Oh I don't know, I'm not political in the slightest. Just assumed I had an ability too. Regardless, I'd do everything in my power to end it.

Ah. No problem.

I think a lot of voters assume that and even vote based on that assumption, unfortunately.

1) Determine what our true national security interests are, and why.
2) Reassert religious liberty. Laws that coerce people into providing abortions or giving tacit approval of gay unions are replaced with better ones that still protect women and gays.
3) Establish a roadmap to eliminating the deficit and the debt, and make it law.

1) Make the country into a dictatorship.
2) Send anyone who opposes me to the camps.
3) Start annexing surrounding countries to create an empire that will last a thousand years.

Lol, too funny, my kids from homeland security would have to kill you with their M14's but funny none the less.

Your plan may work util you get to the point that you would have to make Mexico part of your kingdom and once you add Mexico, well its Mexico, what can be done that is great with Mexico.

*This all is predicated on having a compliant Congress like Trump will have.

1. Non-interventionism:
We withdraw our forces from abroad, not just from the Middle East, but from our bases in Germany, Japan, the UK and elsewhere. I subscribe to the idea of Just War, there are cases where it's necessary like World War II, but I don't believe we should be the world's police. People suffer at home and abroad, and America alone foots a trillion dollar bill. This also allows an opportunity for our armed forces to recuperate from what seems like an endless string of conflicts since the 1970s (Vietnam, The Gulf War, Somalia, Bosnia, Kosovo, Afghanistan, Iraq, etc). If we have no need to focus on managing thousands of personnel abroad, then we can better strategize how to protect ourselves domestically from terrorism. Not to mention the defense funding that could be reallocated to things like infrastructure, veterans affairs and improving our economy.

Washington said in his farewell address, "It is our true policy to steer clear of permanent alliances with any portion of the foreign world" and that would be a core concept in my foreign policy.

2. "Trust Busting 2.0": in the spirit of Teddy Roosevelt, I would take on Wall Street, Big Oil and defense contractors. I would see that conglomerates and monopolies were broken up, new legislation was enacted that would prevent Big Banks from committing the same crimes they got away with leading up to and during the Great Recession, and I would pursue whatever means at my disposal to make sure that defense contractors couldn't engineer conflicts to fatten their profit margins. Our economy is propped up by warfare today, and I want to end that. The fossil fuel industry would be de-incentivized and all of their subsidies will be shifted to renewable energy to drive down costs for manufacturing and purchasing equipment, and companies like Tesla will be incentivized to expand and produce a wider range of vehicles so that Americans can feel more comfortable about transitioning away from gas powered vehicles.

3. Liberating the media: I would press Congress to reorganize the FCC and create new legislation that "de-corporatized" the media, specifically newscasts. News shouldn't be curated according to the whims, preferences, perspectives and political leanings of the network ownership. In other words, networks can advertise for 23 hours a day, but for one hour a night the airwaves belong to the tax payers and the news works for us. In it's heyday, the evening news was presented by news readers (Murrow, Cronkite, Brinkley, etc) but now every news desk is manned by an auteur; spin doctor. They tailor news stories according to their interests. When the networks are invested by the same corporation that manufacture the Cruise Missile, you have a conflict of interest when that news channel runs a story on the battle that Cruise Missile was dropped on.

Off the top of my head, those are three issues that I think are deeply complex and it's very important they be addressed.
