I can be myself. I don't have to be anybody else. I can rest in the peace of who God created me to be and not be ashamed. Isn't that great?

That is truly amazing! It just makes all the problems of daily life seem so very miniscule, doesn't it? Thank you Lord Jesus for loving us as we are!

Thank you so very much for your post, Quiet Storm.
I too have struggled with the pain of sensing I cannot wholly be myself with others. It has always seemed unsafe and brought disastrous, scarring results. Nevertheless, I have faith in the Lord that He shall provide me with all I need and bring into my existence those who will endeavor to reflect His love, as well as equip me to do the same. Praise the Lord, for He cares for us!
