Hello,I agree SMALLER...simple christian,it sounds to me like you have sort of a contempt for life. This life! You have demonstrated an aspect of this belief system that has always troubled me.This"get out of my way,i'm going to heaven"attitude.Alot of this philosophy negates life, which after all is God's gift is'nt it?This zest to get off this planet for some utopia creates contridictions with in itself.God gave the gift of life right?Assuming their is a god..

Yea...smaller, I can see that you are blinded and there is really no more point. Any fool can take a scripture and make it mean what they would like it to mean. Your personal 'philosophy' makes all of the new testament past the gospels a load of useless junk....try to get the context of WHO most of the NT was written to.....it was written to people who were already saved believers.....and the apostles were correcting their SIN.

I suppose it must be nice for you, being able to pin YOUR actions off on some 'force' that is controlling your body. Unfortunately, God sees through your bluff and knows YOU are the one responsible.

Those that most look to Heaven, try and create a bit of it here, on this Earth.  It is a common misconception that Christians don't want anything to do with this world and its problems.

Dialog on the merits of the initial post with the scriptures given. I could give you some examples for instance:

If ALL sin, then why did Jesus say "neither this man nor his parents sinned?"

If you have a position or an alternative answer , then give it. I cannot guess what you are thinking or respond to unwritten presuppositions.

You say PEOPLE si n, and I read that sin manifests through people and is NOT THE SAME AS people JUST as Paul wrote in "NOT I, but sin." When you have a response for this contradiction, then that would be nice also.

    Hey saints and soontobees,

Since sanctification is BY FAITH than it is instantaneous just as justification is BY FAITH
You can have FAITH in HIS blood to cleanse you FROM ALL SINS. And BY FAITH you can be sanctified BECAUSE HE
If you will SEE that believers HAVE BEEN SANCTIFIED thru the offering of the body of Jesus Christ THIS IS STILL A FAITH thing and MAKES holiness A FAITH thing just as redemption is a FAITH thing. ANYONE WHO has NOT the FAITH to believe will try to WORK out THEIR OWN salvation with FEAR and trembling. If you are trying to HELP GOD in your sanctification than you are working and NOT believing Christ’s ONE offering was good enough for you or tiring to WORK up enough FAITH by reading more WORD or praying more prayers or attending more church services IS STILL you trying to HELP the TRUTH who ALREADY (have been sanctified) BY ONE OFFERING!

The MOST convicting (NOT condemning) verse is FOUND in 1Cor. 6:11
again THIS is the WORD of GOD stating the ONLY process that is possible= washed=sanctified=justified NO OTHER WAY. Even a ignorant earthly judge can’t pardon a sinner who wants to continue in their crimes/sins. YOU WON”T be made NOT guilty until YOU HATE UNRIGHTIOUSNESS and LOVE holiness, Heb. 1:9
1Cor. Stated again for a clear understanding : And such some of you were [once]. But you were washed clean (purified by a complete atonement for sin and made free from the guilt of sin), and you were consecrated (set apart, hallowed), and you were justified [pronounced righteous, by trusting] in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and in the [Holy] Spirit of our God.

[SIZE=large]Do you not know that the UNRIGHTEOUS will NOT inherit the kingdom of God?[/SIZE] 1Cor. 6:9

I don't even know how this gets to be a debate. Mandy refuted it at the begining. Rev 21:8 also makes it plain.

He is saying that the cause of the mans blindness is not this mans sin or his parents. He's not saying the man never sinned at all. This is what someone meant when they tried to urge you to look at context earlier.

Under the law of God it's called sin

    Peace Shane:

    Refutations from presupposition are worthless.

    Shane:
He is saying that the cause of the mans blindness is not this mans sin or his parents. He's not saying the man never sinned at all. This is what someone meant when they tried to urge you to look at context earlier.

    smaller:
That is your supposition Shane, just as has been posed by others. IF Jesus meant what he said He certainly could have clarified it by stating specifically that the mans "blindness" was not caused by SIN. He said simply and clearly that neither the man nor his parents sinned. It was His disciples that made the errant connection in their query, not Jesus.

Here is another example you may want to tackle from Luke 16:
In the days when Herod was king of Judea there was a certain priest whose name was Zachariah, of the daily service (the division) of Abia; and his wife was also a descendant of Aaron, and her name was Elizabeth.
And they both were righteous in the sight of God

And yet we know that NONE are righteous (from Romans.)

    Go figure...;)

God is Love. Love has ALL the answers.

    Praise the Living WORD,
Jesus blessed you all with His blood and GAVE you, ‘everything that pertains to Life and GODLINESS… by GIVING us His divine nature we Having Escaped [past tense] corruption [sin] that is in the world thru LUST’….. 2Pet. 1: 3,4
(1.)to daphndon, the WORD blessed you and ‘keep you from falling’, Jude 24
He/Jesus/ the WORD you speak can keep you from falling. Believe it! It’s the WORD’s WORD on being able to KEEP you FROM FALLING!
How about His WORD/ promise when He said ‘… to declare His righteousness for the remission of sins that ARE PAST, through the forbearance of God, To declare, [publicly proclaim] His RIGHTEOUSNESS… I say AT THIS TIME His RIGHTEOUSNESS. Rom 3:25&26a To publicly proclaim HIS HOLINESS for the remission/omission of sin that ARE PAST. This is the WORD of my testimony that I overcome with, Rev. 3:11 His WORD, His HOLINESS is the over comer in the life I now live. To know that the King of glory HAS CLEANSED us FROM ALL SIN in His own blood 1 Jn. 1:7: Rev 1:5
When I want healing in my body I find HEALING verses and replace the LIE with the TRUTH. When we want prosperity in our lives [for His ministry] we go and BELIEVE prosperity words/verses for that to come into our lives. SO when we WANT His sanctification in His life we NOW live, we replace the DON”T WANTED with the verses on HOLINESS and STOP arguing/agreeing FOR SIN and AGREE with … NOW HIS righteousness… as the ‘HOLY SHALL live by FAITH’, [not a process it’s received by HIS faith, that in Him.] This His WORD in our testimony we are kept from FALLING/sinning.
    (2) an7222 If I had not come and spoken to them, they would not have [know] sin: but NOW they have NO EXCUSE for their SIN. John 15:22 [b]Flee FROM SINS as from the face of a serpent,[/b] for if thou comes near them, they will take hold of thee. Ecclesiasticus 21:2 … what a great HOLINESS WORD/verses, from the WORD who is our SHIELD, our STANDRED I thank the WORD for you!
    (3) Hey smaller excellent scripture… Luke 1: 6 How bout this one to ADD to your faith in the WORD…Luke 5:32
Jesus the Christ said: I came not to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance. Luke 1:75 as you know this sounds like He was stating that there MUST be someone Righteous … Like Enoch who 'walked with GOD' or Job in Job 1 ‘There was a man in the land of Uz, whose name was Job; and that man WAS PERFECT and upright [HOLY/righteous}, and one that feared God, and eschewed [hated] evil. Yes how bout the promise by GOD Himself in Luke 1: 75…we should live … In holiness and righteousness before him, ALL the days of our life. This is an OATH of GOD Yep… AN OATH by GOD!!! [SHADOW=crimson][move] Praise Him who CANNOT LIE.!!![/move][/SHADOW]

Peace itsalldone (and I believe THAT)

Sin has been judged and condemned (not mankind!)

The SON was manifested to DESTROY THE WORKS OF THE DEVIL! (did He succeed???)

The SON brought LIFE TO ALL MEN!

    Romans 5
18 So then as through one transgression there resulted condemnation to all men, even so through one act of righteousness there resulted justification of life to all men.

Now do you still believe itsalldone???

God IS love, and this to ALL.

IT is sin and their workers who will be destroyed. THEY are NOT mankind!

This is a incomplete translation of Rom. 5:18 as the VERY important understanding has been omitted, to state the least! A MORE correct translation is:
Therefore as by the offense of one, judgment to condemnation came upon all men, even so by the righteousness of One, the FREE GIFT unto justification of life came upon all men.
    OR even closer to the Greek definitions is;
….even so through one Man's righteous act the FREE GIFT came to all men, resulting in justification of life.
The thing with any GIFT FROM heaven it has to be believed by faith that it WAS received in order to have justification (1344, to render innocent)
If a carnal person puts 3 million dollars into a bank account for you and you don’t, in any way believe [faith without collection is dead] than YOU WILL NOT RECEIVE THE GIFT… NO true believing, NO receiving….
Just as when you don’t believe in the[[SHADOW=red]b] FULL sanctification of the MIND, BODY and SOUL[/b] [/SHADOW] ie…1Thes.5:23 … “Now may the God of peace make you holy in every way, and may your WHOLE spirit and soul and body be kept BLAMELESS until that day when our Lord Jesus Christ comes again”. … OR expanded for clarity as…And may the God of peace Himself sanctify you through and through [separate you from unholy things, make you PURE and wholly consecrated to God]; and may your WHOLE spirit and soul and body be preserved sound and complete [and found] blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ (the Messiah).
I believe the above verse was inspired by a HOLY, HOLY, HOLY GOD and HOLY SPIRIT told me in the verse to believe that HE/ the WORD CAN KEEP my Mind body and soul PURE and blameless [as blameless comes from faith in His WORD creating His Purity and His HOLINESS as LORD OVER the life I now live is yet not I but CHRIST who lives in me… Because in the 24 verse the HOLY SPIRIT says to me ( or any BELIEVER) that …And may the God of peace Himself sanctify you through and through [separate you from unholy things, make you PURE and wholly consecrated to God]; and may your WHOLE spirit and soul and body be preserved sound and complete [and found] blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ . And in Jude 1:24…24 [GLOW=darkblue]Now this means N-O-W to Him who is able to keep you from Falling, and to present you faultless before the presence of His glory with exceeding joy[/GLOW] ,
Who is he that OVERCOMES the WORLD, but he that believes that Jesus is the Son of God?
AND [They] that have an ear, let [them] hear what the Spirit (OF HOLINESS) says unto the churches; To [them] that OVERCOMES will I GIVE to eat of the tree of life, which is in the midst of the paradise of God. Rev. 2:7
AND [they] that OVERCOME, the same shall be clothed in white raiment; [SHADOW=indigo][PURITY][/SHADOW] and I will not blot out [their] name out of the book of life, but I will confess [their] name before my Father, and before His angels. Rev. 3:5

All these HOLY scriptures state OVERCOMING the WORLD as He was (and is) my example to follow in His footsteps (ways) that He OVERCAME the WORLD and GAVE to the believers and only the BELIEVERS the VICTIORY over all the lusts, desires longings and affections.
NOW seekers of the HOLY one (incl. smaller) ANSWER this verse for me…Why don't you all EXPLAIN/ critique this verse for your SOUL worth!

And they that are Christ's have crucified the flesh with the affections and lusts Gal 5:24
NOW ANSWER my Question!! What this verse mean??????? Realy?????
