  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Yippeee!!

Well here's some background... the last 5 years of my life have been pretty bad... no Christmas presents since then, parents divorced, the whole bit...

My dad needed to sell our old camper van in time for Christmas because he wanted to get us presents this year for a special Christmas.

Every time we would drive by he would ask Jesus to help us and help to sell our van.

Odds were really against us, 5 days untill Christmas and 3 times we passed the van, my dad would say the same prayer every time.

It was sitting in a lot with about 120 other vans almost like it... they would be lucky to sell any one of those vans, let alone ours...

But on the 23rd, my dad gets a call.... THE VAN GETS SOLD!! He makes 3000$ profit on it, much more than expected, and we got to have a great Christmas for the first time in 5 years!

I got t-shirts, candy, some money, and even a set of golf clubs that I found cheap!! We even got to have a nice turkey dinner!

I can't believe I doubted Jesus for a second! He really helped us out!!!

Things are starting to look great for us!

Thank you thank you thank you!!
