Some of us make more spelling mistakes then others and even though we have minds that can usually make out what word is intended even by horribly misspelled words. I think we do have a tendency to hold the writer in less esteem if it is filled with misspelled words. Poor grammar is less a problem because frankly most of us don't know the grammar rules and if we did learn them we easily forget them.

Technology has come to the rescue however. You can get the Google tool bar free for either IE or Firefox and it can check the spelling in cute little boxes like this. It is a must have.

And we will all look smarter to each other and to visitors.

Thats cool I know I downloaded the latest Firefox for my puter and it has spell checker built into it. HOW nice cause well my spelling aint the best at times.....

all I can say is welcome to the internet. Spelling mistakes happen. Yes we do have spell check, but some of us don't want to use it or didn't even notice it. Eitherway, if you can read it, you can deal with it. This is not school, noone is getting graded for this. Let us be who we are. If this were a letter to the government or business then yes I agree with you, but on a message board? Be serious.

Ah, but you don't know that, you may wish that was the case but the reality is very different.

The spell checker works in blog entry areas also and frankly it is way easier then the one that this program on Christian Forums uses.
