Oh, I see. Thanks. My mother has and has always had really beautiful long thick perfect hair, and so, she never taught me about beauty salons. And because I'm actually very close to being a shut in, with how uncomfortable I am in vulnerable situations like putting the fate of my hair in someone else's hands, I don't go to salons, really. (explanation of why I didn't know what you were talking about. )

As a SAHM are you self-employed? Unless you've found a way to bring money into your household by doing it, no. A Stay at home mother is more akin to doing service. It's work. But, it's not employment. Although if you want to get technical, you could say you work for whoever it is in your household who pays the bills. ;)

My father in law died several years ago. And I never really got the chance to get to know him. My mother in law and I were very good friends. But, she had a stroke several years ago, and is now a bit altered. So, our relationship is non-existant now. (I mourn our relationship. Losing it is harder than if she had just died.)

Have you ever heard the proverb: "I used to be angry that I had no shoes, until I met someone who had no feet"?

It's okay. At least I have a husband who had parents that brought him into the world, raised him and loved him so that I could marry him. :) It's only hard when I read/hear other people talking about their relationships, that I think about what I'm missing. I'm very blessed.

Yes, please. :)

If you were on a beach in Hawaii, would you wear a bikini?

You haven't worn a bikini since High School? Sorry.

Embarrassed? A little these days. It's not because I'm old and fat, but, because I became a fundamental baptist and they taught me to be ashamed of my body (or anything pertaining to being a woman for that matter.) Before that, a string bikini was just what I wore to the beach or pool.

Is anyone in your family in pastoral ministry?

Well, I would have to make it a conscious effort. If I were unconscious, I would probably gag. :D

(I did that a few years ago and really need to do it again. (grow it out) I'm at the "in betweens" which is, I noticed after looking at old photo's, where I have spent my most of life with my stupid hair! Getting there is so hard though. My hair annoys me!!! )

But, seriously. We eat pretty healthy. Not as healthy as I did before I married this meat and potatoes (fat and lots of salt, smothered in butter) man. But, I make sure we get our veggies etc. Or I would die. (I can't eat like that. It actually makes me sick. )

Does your neck hurt?
