No, I meant take stock of yourself, as a person. Are you learning, are you growing? I believe a person should always be moving forward in some way as a person. And so, that's my goal. ...IMO, and this has nothing to do with the question, or your answer, asking someone about their money situation is like asking someone what color underwear their wearing. I would never ask that. And, I'm sorry that I wasn't clearer. :)

In answer to your question :) : We do. Not my preference. I would much rather have a real one. But, I'm not the boss.

Do you take your Christmas decorations down on New Years day?

Ahh...okay. Don't worry, would never have given you our financial situation, though colour of underwear doesnt bother me...I guess as a mom Ive lost all couth haha :sorry: .
So now to answer your first question personally...I take stock of myself all year long, not at the end or beginning for that matter of the year.
Im always looking at myself spiritually, emotionally and mentally to see how Ive grown. Sometimes not very much, other times a huge amount. Sometimes I think we grow so much over a period of time but dont realize it until it hits us in the face...

To answer your second question I try to take them down around New years day...eiether just before or just after.

Do you have mostly handmade ornaments from your children's school days?
