Yeah , I agree by grace we receive faith, by grace we receive freedom from condemnation to death, by repeated grace we move slowly back stumbling toward loving ness, by grace we obtain final mercy of redemption...that doesn't alter what I said though!
[ nor does it change the fact that if our supposed faith doesn't produce any loving works it is obviously not faith in real love and so is DEAD]

your works are a testament to your faith and love for the Lord. This is all they are. It is not a requirement to be saved if that is what you were implying.

No I wasn't. I completely agree with you, works are INEVITABLE accompaniments to real faith, not requirements[lest we should 'boast' and not give all praise to God for our undeserved salvation]

So we can have no works worthy of God.
