I just came back from the Youth Evangelism Conference. If any of you youth directors have not taken your kids to this, you really need to. It is awesome. Great music, great speakers, drama skits, etc... It is really worth the time. In Birmingham, there was a smaller crowd than last year, but there were a lot of decisions made for Christ.

We just got back from YEC also. Ours is through our convention in Oklahoma the BGCO. It is the Southern Baptist General Convention of Oklahoma. To my knowledge at least in Oklahoma we are the only denomination that has a YEC type conference. We usually have about 10,000 youth in attendance. Our summer camp which has 8 different weeks now besides Indian week which is called Falls Creek has roughly 30,000 to 40,000 campers for all 8 weeks. Just another reason why I love the SBC. So much support, and plenty of events to keep your youth busy.
