CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

as far as i know, xm is satellite radio. i have this weird ad on my computer which features prominent musicians, cars, pianos, baseballs and other things falling out of the sky...

I have XM, and it has 2 christian music channels and one channel that is mainly christian talk. One of the channels is contemporary christian and the other is??? I don't listen to it much. My wife has Sirius in her car and I think it has 2 Christian channels as well.

Check out "The Torch" on XM. It is all christian hard rock, alternative, rap music with no djs or stupidity. Just straight music. Its the best christian station out there in my opinion.

The coolest feature of XM is you are able to see the name of the artist and the title of the song with the push of a button. Now, thanks to XM, I am buying way too many cd's of bands that I never heard of. One of my latest discoveries is The Swift. I heard them do a cover of a Keith Green (my favorite musician, period!) song and I rushed out to get their CD. I have not been disappointed. If you have never heard of them, check them out.
