I just got done playing Fable 5 minutes ago.

It is ok. Good graphics. You can do alot of cool stuff. Get married. Get divorced. Murder your wife. Get drunk. The graphics are great. The story is pretty weak though. It is your classic warrior, wizzard, or archer game. Most of the maps are also regulated to paths unfortunately. I would say that it has decent replay value for a couple of times, but not much more.

Morrowind. Hands down. As said, fables okay but will only keep you busy for about 15 hours.. where as Morrowind... whoo boy theres a game. 180+ hours of gameplay doing side quests and what not..

If you do get morrowind.. get Morrowind Game Of the Year Edition. It has 2 expansions on the disk that sideline with original morrowind. Theres too much to do.

Well, there are a few Zelda type games, not sure the names, but their more of idk, dungeion plunders and linear type games, more action oriented, but they have puzzle elements, umm also Baldur's Gate, and it should be cheap now, plus yeah Morrowind GOTY Edition is around 30 bucks, and the platinum edition, which is normal is 20, so for an extra 10 bucks, you get two new expansions, which are both very difficult, and are roughly 100+ hours of new gameplay, along with the already huge gameplay that idk if you could actually find EVERYTHING on, I've had morrowind since it came out, and yes i've been doing a lot of side quests, and just messing around, but I haven't beaten it, hehehe, ohyeah, the first part in Morrowind is discouraging, because you can't really hit anything, and you'll be like this combat sucks, but if you stick with it, pay a trainer you can level up to where you hit a guy at least 25% of the time, then just keep going, and you'll get to where you can hit 100% of the time, that's my axe skill, and potions you can make, it's unlimited gameplay.....

Also, I've have never played it, but Phantasy Star Online, I heard that it was very dissapointing to those who loved the original versions, BUT if you've never played them before, then it's good because you don't have anything to base it on, it's basically somewhat like Final Fantasy or so people say...aslo
I would like to do a short bit of preaching on how good KOTOR really was...I love star wars, but I've never really liked any games, until I seen this one...I picked it up after hearing how great it was and everyone was right....you don't HAVE to be a star wars fan, in fact the game could be called anything, they could call it some other name, or make it totally original name and people would still love it, reason is that the only thing that makes it star wars are the people and characters and things in it, you could take the story and tweak it so that it was just another place in space, that just ahppen to have the force and light sabers, another great thing, is you don't have to know about star wars at all, the game explains the story as tho you would never know, and they don't refer to things in the movie, another part where it could be anything but star wars, except that they dceided to theme the game on it.........kinda like Star Wars Battlefields, it could be World War 2 themed, and there is one, and it could be a futuristic fighter, they just happened to use star wars theme, if this makes any sense...long story short, it's just a great RPG that happens to be based on the star wars galaxy, but in no way really refers to the stories in the movies, and could be all alone as one game or movie by itself..........
Another RPG i found, which i didn't really care for was Shenmue 2, in fact I thought it was plain horrible....but mostly for this reason, the game was a total remake, graphics and all, which used very plain jane ugly flat faced Dreamcast graphics, supposedly Shenmue 3 will come out, and it will be better, i think if they expand beyond what they have it will be awesome, first and foremost, the city is about the size of those free roam cities in grand theft auto, we don't need loading screens in between different sections...the fighting is actually quite good, and the story too, but it was cut short in 2 showing that a sequel must be coming...more on fighting, it uses a real fighting engine found in another fighting game, it allows realistic moves from several martial arts and also combos, then they throw in a few quick time events, where you have to push a series of buttons in the right order at the right time, they incorporate these into fight also...it's unique twist....the classic arcade games, found in random places are great also, and allow for some fun free roaming for finding new things....the collectables were kinda dumb, they were like action figureds in those little quarter machines, like madden cards, but they didn't do a thing, except waste money, and show that you did some extra searching the cities............but it was a good game, just no work put into it, if they expand beyond their city size, take out some load screens, pump up the graphics, add some details and put in more fights, put in some transportation, such as cabs, or cars, and also make the story feel done, but also allow for sequel it would be awesome, and i think all of these things will be included in the 3, so i would rent shenmue 2, just before shenmue 3 comes out, which as of rght now isn't looking good, hehe, like i said shenmue 2 sucked, but had lots of potential, but still it sucked no one bought it except for a few like me that love the story and just wanted more story, so no sales, no profits, no sequel YET................

Knights of the old republic is probebly best RPG out on the xbox atm. Morrowind is HUGE, VERY much to do, but it has NO interaction with other people, that's what bothered me, first month was great playing it, exploring squire kilometer after squire kilometer with no limitations of the island, but once you know it by heart it gets boring very soon, especially when you can kill everyone in the game (entire cities including all guards) but have to WALK (only choise, no quick travel in it, it's either take transport which is limited to cities/viliges but takes you instantly, or walking) and concidering all the later quests are in the middle of no-where most of the time you'll be walking and looking for something you just cant find for hours and hours, you finaly get it and then... The next quest is even worse, bored me after a while, never finished it though I was uberpowerfull in the end (Deadric claemor magicly upgraded to do 100 extra damage a hit, deadric greaves, ebony plate armour, ebony pouldrons, gloves, helmet, boots, you get the picture.)
Fable is great fun first time you play it, gets very boring on repeat (well, very fun to do once good, once evil)

I agree that Morrowind was....tedious. But the sheer scope and story in the game drew me all the way in. I loved going into the ruins cuz they still creeped me out even when I was too powerfull, and I for one loved the vampire sects you could join. There is so much about that game I love I cant even list it all.

Third age really seemed to me (haven't played it, but reading back and looking at it) as a redo of ea's two towers/return of the king put in a better graphics engine, en then add some walking around a bit in a village like twice in game where you can actually really talk to 2 people and rest gave standerd answers. Only good games ea put out were sport games, rest are under par imo.
