Hi, I just bought me a xbox 360 system and now want to buy some good games. What online stores are good to buy games from? Like the sites to be sale tax free and free shipping. Is it a good idea to buy used xbox 360 games. One game I like is Shrek the third.

Thanks, Robert

Good luck finding free shipping, unless you make a purchase more than $75 or so. You might be able to find a coupon online or something.

I highly recommend getting things used; GameStop is very good with that. Of course, it's really better if you have an actual store near you.

The sales tax thing largely depends on where you live. If you're in the same state as the company, you will be charged sales tax.

Nothing wrong with used console games, but preferably you get those at a local store so you can check the disc for scratches.

You might want to consider getting a Game pass at a Blockbuster or other rental shop. That way you can try some games out before you decide whether or not to buy.

And of course since you have a 360, make sure you check out the arcade and demo downloads. You can download demos for many recent and upcoming titles. And though the arcade games cost money to buy full versions, you can try all of them for free.

As far as retailers go, Gamestop or Walmart are your best bets local. Online, I buy from www.ebgames.com for new titles.

I don't know of any good online sites to get games.
There are so many used old games that you can find sales in almost any place that sells games.
Videogame stores is your best bet.

You can buy used copys at a very cheap price.

You can probably find these titles for 10$, and they are great games.

Call of Duty 2
Dead Rising
Need 4 Speed: Most Wanted

There are other games that are better, but they cost more. Start with these titles and then get the other games as they get cheaper.

Arcade downloads are great to.
Hexic
Geometry Wars
Pinball

Then you have Halo3 coming up in a few days.

I highly recommend http://www.play-asia.com/.

You should be able to find a copy of Oblivion: The Elder Scrolls 4 available for around US$30 in your country. It's, in my opinion, one of the best games ever created. There's a newer "Game of the Year" edition that will cost more, but the original edition has way more than enough things to do in it to keep almost anyone busy. I give it 5 stars out of 5. :)

It really depends on what you're looking for in a game. Someone suggested Blockbuster Total Access, GameFly is similar but mailing takes a while and varies greatly on availability, but I still enjoy it.

If you're looking for a community of Christian gamers, I know of one. Great group, some weirdos (self included), and great to play with on Live.

As for places to buy, ebay's pretty alright for prices and selection if you're trying to get older games. Locally check you're GameStops and ebGames and whatnot for a large used selection. Just try before you buy with rentals or downloadable demos.
