You need a separate cable called a HD VGA AV cable. It'll have a 15-pin plug that plugs into the monitor and two audio plugs (the regular red and white ones). Naturally monitors don't usually have speakers so you can hook it up to stereo speakers or adapt it to go to computer speakers.but the part I'm confused is that I wouldn't know how to plug in my X360(i just got the arcade version!) to my computer monitor...I'm very ignorant when it comes to technology.
but where would the two audio plugs go...?You need a separate cable called a HD VGA AV cable. Plug them into stereo speakers that have the proper jacks or be like me and get an adapter that will have both audio plugs adapted into a headphones jack. Then another adapter to have two female ends (the ends that you plug the headphones into). Then connect it to some computer speakers. Both adapters for that should cost a total of $15 at most at Radio Shack.but where would the two audio plugs go...?
Bought the floor model, 1 year old had it for a little over 1 year before it died. Missed the warranty by a few months. At least I got $1000 knocked off for buying the floor model, but only got a years use, next time I buy new.Man. It should at least be under warranty.

First, he's talking about the HDTV, not the 360.US dollars???
A new system won't make a difference. The manufacturing on all systems is flawed, raising the chance of overheating and system failure.
Microsoft, after a lot of complaints, has raised the system warranty to 3-years. You can return the system to Microsoft and get it replaced.
I sure hope you didn't by the in-store warranty, though. Those are always nothing more than a scam. Stores make an extremely large amount of money from this. On the X-Box 360, for example, the system is already 100% covered by a manufacturer's warranty (it needs it!!!). If anyone pays for a store warranty as well, they've been scammed. They've just paid for something they've already got.
