1. xbox comes with a hard drive built in.
2. nothign really. xbox live :p
3. depends on what your taste is
if you like first person shooters then: halo, unreal championship (online!), or a wwII shooter like medal of honor
if you like rpg's then you have to get star wars knights of the old republic
sports: depends on what sports you like.

Just be careful.. There are some really crappy PC ports available for X-Box. They play cludgy, the interface rots. UT2K3 is one such game. I love the game on the PC. The port to XBox is horrid. I found that to be the same amongst a few first person shooters.

The Hulk was designed to be a console game through and through. I only saw the Hulk portion played, but I read that the Bruce portion isn't very good.

Other good ports include racing sims and sports games. Triple Play rocks on the X-Box :) Rallisport Challenge is great, as is Gotham Racing.

Hunter the Reckoning is really good, a third person RPG. (of course I think all 3rd person RPG's rock on a console, so I guess I'm kind of biased).

Mortal Kombat is also really good.

No console system can compare with a good pc, in graphics.

The sports games are great, for the most part.

With your live kit, I can tell your going to want something online.
Definitly get the Ghost Recon:Islands of Thunder, it comes out the first week of August.

The Ghost Recon is the most popular online game, and is the Xbox Magazines office favorite.

If you ever run out of memory (Not likely) you can buy 8 mb memory cards that you put in your controllers. As for games, get Morrowind if you like RPGs, Project Gotham and Nascar Thunder are good for racing. Amped is an excellent snowboarding game, and avoid Jet Set Radio Future at all costs.

Hai, with Ghost Recon, how do you get across the field without being sniped? A friend of mine wants to know. lol :)

There are a couple of ways of doing this.

1. Zig zag through the field. This creates a hard target to hit.
2. Have a team mate give you some cover fire.

But the most important thing.....
Don't run through the open fields if you don't have to.
This game is mostly about stealth, trusting your team, and taking your time.
If you run around like rambo, you are going to die!

All of those other games that people are naming are ok, but not to many people have the experience I have on this system.
You can link Halo through your PC, but without voice communication.

The Ghost Recon series blows all others out of the water, including Halo, unless your not going to play online. Then Ghost Recon sucks! :p

the hard drive is installed in the system, you dont need to buy one.

I HOPE YOU ARE ALREADY GETTING LIVE, IT IS A MUST HAVE FOR A XBOX.
the dvd remote is nice if you dont already have a dvd player, or you want another.

and games i would suggest would be
has anyone heard that u shouldn't play dvd's on x-box or ps2? i heard it can burn out your motor quicker because when u play games the disk spins a little then stops but in dvd's it has to constantly keep spinning
just wondering

not for the xbox, i dont know about the ps2 though.

btw live only means only get it if you have live.

Morrowind goty edition
Halo
Counter strike-live only
Crimson skies -live only
Kotor
Return to castle wolfenstein -live only

not likly is a huge understate ment, it has about 100 000 blocks, and the average game takes a average of 100 blocks, its musick that you rip to your xbox that will take up some space.
