i havent' read the mangas but i watched the film and i love it! it is one of the 3 films only ever to make me cry at the end (the others are angel sanctuary and lion king!)

i even have a bid fabric poster of (how do you spell the main persons name??? sorry)

Kamui or Fûma?

Yeah, X/1999 is a great movie. The animation is fantastic; it's a shame that the American DVD release is so crappy. Of course, that should be expected because it was released by Manga Entertainment.
