but i know many of you care so much and are waiting for news
today is a very very bad day
the doctors feel its just past the hope of any return
they await the arrival of allans mom before they plan to remove the resperaitor

Yes, but not a particularly good one. Allan is dead.

Or, as my blog put it: "Fundies Said the Darndest Things."

It is hard to express how much I will miss him. He was telling me gleefully not that long ago about all the fun he was having trading emails with some very well-meaning atheist who was trying to deconvert him. He managed to get as far as arguing that fossilized near-horses were probably demonic horses like those in LotR without his correspondent realizing than anything was up.

Every person's loss is felt, but some have done more to touch lives then others. I always felt his posts had more thought in them then the normal run-of-the-mill, he always gave more, was willing to put more time, more thought, more spirit into what he did then a normal person. His spirit and energy came through his writing.

I'm bad at long writing, I can't think of the right words. I didn't know him well, but I wish I had known him better. And for everyone who knew him, I'm sorry for your loss - truly sorry.

I don't visit CF very often anymore, but I remember reading many of Allan's posts back when I used to be more active here. I am so saddened to hear of his death... My heartfelt condolences and prayers to Jessica and his family and friends.

My mom is too sad to post but she said I could. I read some things that Winace wrote and his picture looks nice.

I'm sorry he died. My grandfather just died.
