I'm a pharmacist but due to illnesses and other issues out of my hands I've had to go on sick leave but for some reason I can't get anybody to let me know if I still have a job or not. I've not quit and they have not fired me. My sick leave has expired and if I cannot be "rehired" by July I have no choice but to "quit" and look for another job. Having a disability (maybe no now cuz it's 20 years later) seems to be a liability for some.

I hate that. I have a major mental illness, and I went through that limbo too years ago when I had to take extended leave from work to be hospitalized. When I got out, they led me on for a few weeks before finally admitting that they'd let me go due to budget constraints. Ironically enough, I was able to get the same position back a few months later! So you never know; maybe something's in the works for you...

My oldest daughter is a pharmacy tech while she is going to school to be a pharmacist.

Yep, it's a powerful symbol. If I had gotten another tattoo, it would have been some kind of image of the phoenix.
