CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Hello Doulos, as a single chap with out a girlfriend my advise is prob ltd, but i can tell u for sure that once you really experience that wow wonder of God face to face ( but by faith) you will never be the same and you will never look back, You see the very one who can make you chilled out is the one that u sometimes make time for when its conveniant. Jesus (God) is the sourse of REAL HAPPINESS and not earhtly love like Jamie. you depend upon her for happiness and acceptance, but when you depend upon God you become in a way independant from her, that way you will be able to love her and be able to cope when you feel rejected. It goes like this"" I need you Jamie, but my love for God is so wow that I dont depend upon you, I have a greater meaning to life and affection for God.

If you go to the Lord with all of your concerns and cares and if He wants you to be with Jamie, that is up to him. But it also sounds like, no offense to you and/or her at all, that she ain't a Christian but hopefully she will become one. We will be praying for you and if you need us, let us know.
