The greatest witness we can have is in the little, everyday things we do for others out of love for Jesus!
God bless you.
I See Jesus
I saw Jesus last week.
He was wearing blue jeans and an old shirt.
He was up at the church building.
He was alone and working hard.
For just a minute he looked a little like one of our members.
But it was Jesus ... I could tell by his smile.
I saw Jesus last Sunday.
He was teaching a Bible class.
He didn't talk real loud or use long words,
But you could tell he believed what he said.
For just a minute, he looked like my Bible teacher.
But it was Jesus ... I could tell by his loving voice.
I saw Jesus yesterday.
He was at the hospital visiting a friend who was sick.
They prayed together quietly.
For just a minute he looked like Brother Jones.
But it was Jesus ... I could tell by the tears in his eyes.I saw Jesus this morning.
He was in my kitchen making my breakfast and fixing me a special lunch.
For just a minute he looked like my mom.
But it was Jesus ... I could feel the love from his heart.I see Jesus everywhere,
Taking food to the sick ... Welcoming others to his home,
Being friendly to a newcomer ... & for just a minute,
I think he's someone I know.
But it's always Jesus ... I can tell by the way he serves.

I've still been searching for a mission trip, and I finally found another one that might be God's will. I don't know though. I have to call about it today and get more information. Would you all pray that God's will will be done? I really want to go on a mission trip, and serve God, but if it's not His will then I don't want to. Please pray. I love you all. God bless!
I gotta go now. I'm gonna get offline so I can call about that trip. I might be on later to tell you all how things turn out. I hope you all have a great and blessed day!
Hi everyone
Hope you are all having a lovely day. It is almost time here, but I just wanted to drop in and say thank you very much again for your prayers and support, esp. as y'all don't know me very well. Which makes me feel I should provide a quick synopsis...
As you can see from the icons, I am married and have 2 boys, aged 2 and 4. We would love to have more children, but were recently convicted to leave our fertility up to God. So we're just waiting to find out what His plans are for us on that front.
My DH was unemployed for 10 months after "taking a package"; I work as a high school history teacher. On Friday, DH started his new job . It is unfortunately in another country - but Europe's small, so actually only about 3 hours' drive away! The kids and I will follow after the end of the school year. So he just left for the week and I am facing up to the challenge of managing everything by myself, after almost a whole school year fo having the luxury of a spouse at home helping!
Next year I will be a SAHM, which I am really looking forward to (it's a good job, praise the Lord!) To sum up: we have been abundantly blessed by God, our ever-loving Father, and all we need now is God's grace to get us through this last part of the process and the move.
I am not very stress-resistant, so I'm going to need all God's help to keep doing what Jesus would do; and an out-pouring of His Spirirt for me to show any fruits! Esp. staying patient with the kids when I'm in a rush is a REAL CHALLENGE!!!!
So, that's me. Eldaah - I hope you get clear answers about God's will with regard to mission work. What kind of areas are you looking into? (sorry if you already said, I just don't usually have time to read the whole thread )
Question:
Maybe you all did this already, but what are your favourite Bible passages? Which verses / books do you turn to for inspiration?
