2 Timothy 3:16 says " That all scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete thoroughly equipped for every good work. Even 2 Peter 1:21 states for prophecy never came by the will of man , but holy men of God spoke as they were moved by the Holy Spirit. You are trying to attack me when you are saying that the apostles & prophets only wrote their opinions in the bible. Are you even a Christian? Because you perceive that the Word of God big G has to be taken directly at face value my friend if you do that you will never get "revelation" of God's Word. Every beliver of Jesus Christ knows that the Bible is the infallible Word of God. Why? Because they have the Holy Spirit which bears witness with their spirit. I'm not going to waste time arguing with you on this matter. I will Never want to "rule" in His stead.. He is my ruler my life my Lord you attack me but the Word says "touch not my anointed & do my prophets no harm God bless you that you will stand for the Word.

And I maintain that your holy book is every bit as authoritative as the Book of Mormon, the Diamond Sutra, the Q'uran or the Analects of Confucius, which is to say: The opinions, justified or not, of the men who wrote them.
You are trying to attack me when you are saying that the apostles & prophets only wrote their opinions in the bible.
No. I say nothing about you. The "apostles & prophets" certainly wrote their opinions, whether those came from God, the devil, or their own disordered imaginations.
Are you even a Christian?
No. I could explain why, if you are interested, but this thread is not the place.
Because you perceive that the Word of God big G has to be taken directly at face value my friend if you do that you will never get "revelation" of God's Word.
I take that to mean that if I don't agree with you, I am disagreeing with God.
Every beliver of Jesus Christ knows that the Bible is the infallible Word of God.
I know many people who esteem Jesus and his teaching without believing the Bible to be "Bible is the infallible Word of God". I can believe that Jesus tried to teach us how to live without believing in the Bible, the virgin birth, miracles, or the resurrection.
Why? Because they have the Holy Spirit which bears witness with their spirit.
When I worked in a mental hospital one of my patients thought that he was Jesus Christ, and he was quite certain of it, because God told him it was so.
I'm not going to waste time arguing with you on this matter.
Why should you? After all, you are as infallible as the Pope.
I will Never want to "rule" in His stead.. He is my ruler my life my Lord
Jim Jones, Ted Haggard, and Torquemada have said the same.
you attack me ...
No. I challenge your self-aggrandizing ideas.
... but the Word says "touch not my anointed & do my prophets no harm God bless you that you will stand for the Word.
I didn't touch you, even though I doubt that you are annointed by God to be a king, which is what the "annointing" signifies. ("Christos" means "annointed" and is used as a synonym for "king".) As for your being a prophet ... When are they going to include your book to the Canon?

Just asking!

What would Jesus do about abortion?
We use to protest at one of the local abortion clinics. Somehow they got a restraining order so that only two protestors were allowed when the clinic was open. So we went in when they were closed with hundreds of people from different churches. We held hands all the way around the block and prayed for God to close down that clinic and put an end to the death of those babies. God did not close them down.

I wondered why God allows abortion. Then He showed me that the wages of sin is death. Abortion is the death that is the result of sin. Also God gives people a choice. While He encourages them to choose life, blessing, health and prosperty. They can choose death, sickness and poverty. God does not take that choice away from them. We hope they choose life, but they have that choice to make.

It's very sad because some of those girls are very young. I have seen people invite girls into their home if they want to keep the baby or put it up for adoption. They feed her and take care of her, to do everything they can to keep that baby alive and bring it into the world. They take her to the doctor so she gets the best of medical care.

It is sad when things of this world happen. But God is good & even though that clinic didn't close down there have been victories won. Some of them have closed some of the biggest agencies like Planned Parenthood who is the biggest funder of abortions has been cut in some states. We may not understand why things happen or we don't get results we want we have to trust that they will not go unpunished. Just like when a murderer gets of free but then never gets caught in the end they will by Gods judgement.

I don't know what Jesus would do about abortion, but he did (apparently) say "Resist not evil." Perhaps we should leave the judgements to God? Or is that opinion too un-Christian for this forum?

If you mean when you say " leave the judgements to God" as being where we spend eternity, then I think all Christians do this since none of us are God. But if you mean " judgements" as in our opinions about other people, then why don't you take you own advice? This thread is full of your judgements about Christians.
