What I have found is that if you let writer's block keep you from writing, you never get past it. Write through it, even if you are writing drivel, something will click and then you can go back an clean up your drivel. My 7th novel will be released in Sept. and believe me, I've faced a blank computer screen many a day. Once writing becomes a business rather than a hobby, you can't wait until you feel inspired, you have to get on with it and see to it that you are inspired at 9 AM every day. That's why the first book is the most fun--on your own time with no deadlines.
