The Spirit spoke explicitly to me over two decades ago to view
the scriptures; whether apostolic doctrine, the Law and the Prophets,
the Psalms, and even Words of Christ as something you must commit
to EXPERIENCING in your walk, your fellowship, and your personal
devotions. Reading the Bible with a highlighter, or rote memorization
is not the experience of Truth. Reading books by academics and
Theologians are far, far off mission without personal experience.
Who makes up the inner circle of your fellowship?
Even Christ had three from among the 12 that He kept closest at hand.
Make a commitment to applying a mission statement mentality
to your gathering together. Going to church or synogogue
is only a starting point, not the be all and end all of experience.
Here is one, add one, and form a mission statement.
Ephesians 4:
2 With all lowliness and meekness, with longsuffering,
forbearing one another in love;
3 Endeavouring to keep the unity of the Spirit
in the bond of peace.
