I just finished participating in the "Write of Passage" screenwriting competition. It was a great experience and I would recommend it to anyone who is seriously interested in writing faith based films.

You basically get a scripture and a theme assigned and you have one week to write a screenplay no longer then 12 pages that illustrates the scripture. The winner gets 1000 dollars and several of the screenplays usually get produced.
