  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

this morning at 10:30 my phone rang. i got up outta bed and crawled to pick up the phone. it was my friend, francis. she was picking me up for church. i really didn't feel like going, but i threw on some clothes, sprayed myself with perfume, threw a piece of gum in my mouth and went out the door. even though i desperitly needed a shower. lol.
anyway, i got there, and it was okay. i was kinda outta it. but at the end this lady came up to me and said, "during the service, God gave me a burden for you. He wanted me to tell you that He's taking care of things at home and that you will find where you belong." i started to cry. that was the strangest, but one of the most awesome, experiences in my entire life. yep, all 15 years. :D
anyway, that's my little praise. He went from seeming so distant to seeming so real, at this extremely spiritually dry moment in my life.
please continue to pray for me, if you don't mind.
but most importantly, my pastor's wife has cancer and is currently in the hospital (has been for 2 weeks). our church is starting a prayer thing, where we sign up to pray for her at certain times of the day in 15 minute incrimates 24/7. please, please, PLEASE keep her in your prayers. i believe in the power of prayer, i believe Jesus can and will heal her. lift her up!

JFFL: That is what is known as WORD OF KNOWLEDGE! It is a very special spiritual gift, too! Isn't it neat to to see God work like that!

I know about cancer, because bone cancer is what killed my mom. "Lord Jesus-we lift up this pastor's wife to you now. We know beyond a shadow of a doubt that you are able to cure her. Your ways are not always our ways, Lord Jesus, because you can see the whole picture, while we can only see a small part. Above all, Lord Jesus, we pray that you will give this couple peace above all. Give them the same spirit that Paul had, when he said that: "I have learned that in whatever circumstances I am in, to be content." Lord Jesus, we pray that you would give this wonderful couple the strength to live with what is happening in their lives right now. Let them know that above all-You still love them! Guide them through the tough times, Lord Jesus, that they would be blessed & that you above all would be glorified in their witness! We ask this in Jesus Name! Amen"

In Jesus Name!

Jesus freak.

That is a great testimony. God does work in mysterious ways. I love it when something like that happens out of no where. You know without a doubt that the Hand OF The Lord has been a work. It is a great feeling to know that he loves you, and that is at a work in your life. So many times, just when you think that he doesn't care, you find out that he has been there all the time.

I will pray for you and for your family, and for your pastor's wife. May God heal her of this disease. :prayer:
