I've been rather stressed, unmotivated, the whole nine yards lately. I haven't worked for awhile, and my health has stunk. I was figuring out what the exact funds were that I required for moving and getting my stuff together, and it came to about $2000. Now, where on earth would I just come across that right away? Well, I was on EI for a brief stint when I had to leave my last job for medical reasons.. then I found a PT job, and went off EI. Then I didn't feel well enough to work there, so I quit and reapplied with EI.. so now they owe me 6 weeks of back payments, which amounts to quite a fair amount since I was making some sweet coin at my last job. Ah, it's nice to see some peace and order in my chaotic life for a change! I watched this christian show which was featuring some financial counselors, and they were basically giving the message that you need to show God exactly what money you NEED.. and then He'll make sure you get it. I haven't bothered since I left my office job, so now that I know this info, and it's proven now, I'll make sure I keep on top of that. Well, just thought I'd share this for the other worry worts.

CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
