  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Dear Friends,

I could always count on your prayers being answered by the Lord. So I am asking for another prayer request.

My fiance, Amanda, has broken up with me. She's had to face so many difficulties this year. I'm afraid, she's beginning to lose faith. She's starting to question everything in her life.

I do not ask for a prayer for our relationship, or for myself. For I know that God shall always see to my needs. I only ask that our Lord give her a Godly understanding for her new role in His kingdom. I ask the Lord to smite this evil that's come upon her, and that she may finally be at peace with the Lord, once again. She's going through so much pain right now after her surgery for cancer. Her heart is so broken.

Please pray for my best friend. Thanks in advance.

Yessir -- will do. Even though you have "broken up", send her some flowers with a note attached (that will be a blessing to her), and have it signed "God". :)

Dear Lord,

We thank you that Amanda has such a good friend in Iggster. Please continue to bless their relationship in whatever road you want them to take. Please heal Amanda emotionally. and give her renewed Faith through you.

Thank you for all of your blessings, and thank you for this place where we can pray for one another.

Heaveny Father, i pray that you would be with Amanda through this time. Lord that you would help her to keep her faith in you. Lord, that you would soften her heart to your will and that you would provide her with someone to help her through this time of trials that she is going through. Lord, i pray that you would strengthen her, and give her your courage so that she would be able to get through this time of trials still believing in you and come out of it as a refined and more on fire christian. Lord, i pray that you would give her your wisdom so that she can see your will for her life, so that she won't lose faith in you, but be comforted by the great love that you have for us all. Lord, i pray this in Jesus' name, amen
