Why not? If I were your father in such a situation and I were a praying man, I would be praying as if my life depended on it that you would deny me. What father would want the shallow confirmation of hearing that you consider him your father when you have a gun to your head, if the price is that you, his daughter, will die? Ask your own father about this sometime -- whether it would please him for you to die rather than lie to someone and say that he's not your father.fluffy_rainbow said:That is really a difficult question to answer. I want to be able to say with absolute certainty, no hesitation, "YES! I would die for Jesus Christ!" But the human side of me wants to think, wow, my family should would be hurt. As close as I am to Jesus Christ, I don't think I could deny Him if someone asked me to. That would be like someone pointing a gun at my head and demanding, "Is that your father? If you say yes, I'll kill you!" I couldn't deny my earthly father anymore than I could deny my Heavnly Father.
