1. There's a preacher and wife who are very, very, poor. They already have 14 kids. Now she finds out she's pregnant with her 15th. They're living in tremendous poverty. Considering their poverty and the excessive world population, would you consider recommending abortion?

2. The father is sick with sniffles, the mother has TB. They have 4 children. The 1st is blind, the 2nd is dead, the 3rd is deaf and the 4th has TB. She finds she's pregnant again. Given the extreme situation, would you consider recommending abortion?

3. A white man raped a 13 year old black girl and she got pregnant. If you were her parents, would you consider recommending abortion?

4. A teenage girl is pregnant. She's not married Her fiancée is not the father of the baby, and he's very upset. Would you consider recommending abortion?

If you have answered "yes" in any of these situations: In the first case, you have just killed John Wesley. One of the great evangelists of the 19th century.

In the second case, you have just killed Beethoven.

In the third case, you have killed Ethel Waters, the great Black gospel singer.

If you said yes to the fourth case, you have just declared The murder of Jesus.

You do realize there's no one size fits all regarding abortion, right? In the first case, that could be a suicide bomber. Most suicide bombers come from that same background.

In the second case, how dare you suggest that handicapped people are less than human and more worthy of aborting. whoever would abort a child based on something so stupid isn't mature enough to be making that decision.

And with that clever segue, the last two cases... yoyu forgot to mention Mary's age. I don't personally believe in abortion as an option, but if Mary's case was modern, I wouldn't fault a twelve year old for getting an abortion. Nor would I fault a rape victim. If they are not mature enough - physically or mentally - to deal with a cchild, I wouldn't want to force them into that position. I would personally prefer adoption, but sometimes people panic, and sometimes full fledged birth would be what tears them up.

This story wasn't posted to offend anyone. It was just to make people think. I don't say no to abortions, there are some very real and good reasons to have one. Again, don't attack me, attack the story with facts.

I'd NEVER recommend abortion to anyone - if anything - i'd recommend adoption - instead of killing a baby - save a life and let another set of parents who may not be able to have children a chance of adopting a child. I believe they should get rid of abortion and let everyone give their unwanted children up for adoption instead.
