Would the rebuilding of the Jerusalem Third Temple stabilize the climate???

The rebuilding of a Jewish temple would have no affect on anything, except politically - it would incite the Arabs to war... If you believe in Christ you believe He, and the Church, fulfill the Old Testament, and are inheritors of the covenant.

The rebuilding of a temple of a people who do not recognize Christ should not be a priority of Christians. Besides, the destruction of the temple was literal punishment (by the Romans) of Jewish uprisings in the 1st and 2nd century...

I'm not sure what the new temple's significance will be in the future...I mean ...it is holy only if gods presence is there....god will definately use the new temple for some purpose in the future....

My guess is... Because the two witnesses are there....and gods message is spoken through them... this will make it sacred ground....I could be wrong ...it says that the outer court is given to the invading Gentiles .... But punishment upon in inner court is proclaim and carried out by the two witnesses Enoch and Elijah ...

And in those days .... No rain falls...

One thing I see is that during the final years and starting with the 6th seal the heavens depart ....the clouds roll up like a scroll... Ie no rain... And Jesus return with the clouds.... So it may be that for 7 years no rain falls....

I will reiterate my first point; climate change could be an issue we could tackle if everyone in the US didn't think it was a giant conspiracy to get them to drive smaller, "un-murrikan" cars...

There are lots of ways, too many to list; that's outside of the scope of this thread so I'll avoid it to avoid derailing. Like I said in my first post in the thread our biggest issue is ATTITUDE, not what we are doing. That will go further than prophecies about a temple being rebuild changing the climate.

Working toward lowering the use and ultimately eliminating the need of fossil fuels in favor of renewable sources of energy is always a good start.

The technology to make vehicles run on alternatives has been around for quite some time, though it hasn't been efficient enough in some ways, and largely many efforts get killed by Big Oil.

Fear of nuclear power is still around, but it really is quite safe and is among the cleanest sources of energy available to us. Solar power technology is always improving, wind turbines and hydroelectric power are really showing they can pull their muscle.

Stricter conservation policies and penalties for those who break the law would be useful. The amount of pollutants we dump into the earth's rivers and oceans is--quite frankly--barbaric.

I think if the gov of the world wanted to move to create wonderful changes for global environment ... They would.... to better people's lives...That is... if those are their true intentions...

They've given at least some effort but government officials want to be elected. Coming back to my central point; people still distrust science a lot in this area and don't want any policy that compromises their freedom to do as much environmental damage as possible because its "MUH FREEDOM".

Elected officials will go "oh, ok" and back off. Plus there is the massive oil lobby trolling around making things harder.

People try to obey the laws of the land as much as possible...our freedom goes only so far....if I was free... I would not pay taxes... Never join military if drafted... Go anywhere without passport ... Throw away driver license. fishing license my social security if I was free never pay tickets... Whose with me?

A case can be presented that monetary policy could be altered which would make it possible to reduce income tax down to very low levels.

God has a time in mind to fulfill Ezekiel chapters 40 to 48. I personally don't know exactly what that time line is???!!!

I have to admit that reading about earthquakes having affected the Temple Mount in 1033 makes me wonder if 2033 might be more in line with God's plans than 2030?????!!!!

I have to admit that one more serious earthquake might just be a sign from God regarding the when that God wants the Ezekiel Temple Mount complex constructed????!!!!

Zechariah 14:4

And his feet shall stand in that day upon the mount of Olives, which [is] before Jerusalem on the east, and the mount of Olives shall cleave in the midst thereof toward the east and toward the west, [and there shall be] a very great valley; and half of the mountain shall remove toward the north, and half of it toward the south.

There certainly is logic in the Ezekiel TEmple NOT BEING CONSTRUCTED....until AFTER...this event is fulfilled!!!!!!!!!!

Scales that fall the eyes, that is to say, muslims will be exposed to the truth. That has to be the truth of hard knocks. Discovering islam as false can only become known after the demise of millions so that those muslims left behind will change their minds after seeing that islam failed, that 'allah' failed them. Itll be explosive when it happens, im sure.

Exactly as I see it. And somehow I suspect we will not use the stones that make up the aqsa now in building the new temple.

SanFrank, what do you think of my suspicion that after that earthquake we are perhaps down to the foundation stones laid by Zerubbabel?????!!!!

Basically, my suspicion is that none of the alterations made by King Herod will remain to be used in the Ezekiel 40 - 48 Third or Fourth Temple complex?????!!!!

Yes, this is a small miracle for the God of Abraham.

No, age of miracles is over or such miracles are a silly myth.

No this would cause WWIII, we'd all die and no rain needed anymore!

This prophecy cannot be fulfilled until AFTER Zechariah 14:1 occurs!

I am open to the possibility that this miracle could occur!
