No... I read about this company as I was researching options for a Relief Channel that was proposed for the Isthmus of Chignecto between Nova Scotia and New Brunswick, Canada. I love the nice progression of logic in this presentation. Running the numbers like this shows not only how powerful a carbon sink our earth’s soils can be, under the right management, but also just how futile and what a goose-chasing diversion most contemporary technological ‘fixes’ for climate change really are.

When you see the upwardly stepped red line (10:32) showing the seasonal rise and fall of CO2 concentrations (zigzagging seasonally due to the massive intake of CO2 by the northern hemisphere’s deciduous forests over the north’s summer months), try to imagine how that line could peak and begin to step downwardly. It can happen — with holistic education aimed at a widespread effort towards large-scale rehabilitation of our soils; be they deserts, savannahs, scrub lands, set-asides, farms and gardens. Rapid revegetation can put our CO2 rich skies back into balance — pulling the carbon down into our soils, where it becomes a source of fertility, and thus even more vegetation…. The cycle of stupidity, that is our current carbon cycle, can thus become a cycle of stability, health and prosperity.

And, in case you think it can’t be done, consider that we’ve actually cooled the earth before — and not that long ago. Here is another video on how turning deserts green is a great alternative theory on stabilization of the climate. (Sure reminds me of Isaiah chapter 35.......and a newly built Ezekiel Temple and /or Temple Mount Temple will mean the need for more pasture land for cattle so......this should lead to more desalination of ocean water in Israel.)

There is more to this that gets neglected. Cattle, and actually animal agriculture generally, contribute greatly to emissions that affect global climate change. Soil carbon from those would be a small effect in comparison.

The time scale, that many are not yet aware of, just does not work with this. The climate change is happening now, effects are seen, and the summer, as before, will show more over previously drastically. Superstorms and flooding have already been occuring, showing the changes, and would worsen. If it was not to get serious enough for an issue before Jesus Christ returns, he would have returned already and would be reigning in this world now. But there is prophecy showing a sign of this issue, and warning to those contributing to this. Revelation 11:18 warns that God hates those who are destructive to this earth, and we who should live by God's will on earth the way it is in heaven should not be contributing to that with our choices, the way many of us do. Luke 21:25 and verse 26 shows "on the earth distress of nations, the sea and the waves roaring, men's hearts failing them from fear and the expectation of those things which are coming on the earth".

The next temple to be built would not be in place to change anything in time, and having more cattle bred, for sacrificing, will not help to lessen the problem of climate change, but it would worsen it if anything. I do think also there will be a temple that will correspond to Ezekiel's envisioned temple, but it is too late (it might have been built earlier and not be too late, but the Jews then did not seek to do that) to have animal sacrifices continue. It is wrong to say that they were ever effective for dealing with sin, Jesus alone was ever effective, and sacrificing before he came two thousand years ago was just any good for being a type helping people in faith to Yahweh, that would lead to being covered to deal with the sins. Christ coming again would not have sacrificing, which is ineffective, and so an offense to Yahweh, continue, Isaiah 1:11, Amos 5:21.

I could be wrong... but Isaiah 35

The wilderness and the solitary place shall be glad for them; and the desert shall rejoice, and blossom as the rose.

Then shall the lame man leap as an hart, and the tongue of the dumb sing: for in the wilderness shall waters break out, and streams in the desert.
And the parched ground shall become a pool, and the thirsty land springs of water: in the habitation of dragons, where each lay, shall be grass with reeds and rushes.

and the alternative theory on stabilization of the climate given by New Mexico biologist and coach Carl Cantrell seem like the most practical approach to stabilization of the climate that I have heard about so far.

So how is our problem of continental drying causing global warming? It all has to do with vegetation and sunlight. When sun light hits a plant, it causes a process which we call photosynthesis where the energy from the sun light creates oxygen for us to breath, water for us to drink, and is stored as sugar for plants and animals to use. When the same sun light hits the soil, all of its energy turns into heat and is radiated back into the atmosphere, carried away by running surface water such as rain fall, is carried away to other areas by our winds, and diffuses down into the soil towards the earth's crust. All of this warms our planet increasing its average temperature.

Therefore, the less vegetation you have on the planet, the more sunlight is being turned into heat and the warmer the planet becomes. This is very critical because warmer and dryer winds dry out other land areas faster decreasing the vegetation on those land areas. Less humidity in the air also reflects less sun light back out into space so that more sun light strikes the earth and more heat is generated.

The truth is that you can do more to decrease global warming by just reducing the average temperature for the Sahara Desert by one or two degrees than if we humans completely quit using fossil fuels and returned to the cave.

So, how would you start working to resolve this problem? Easy, cool the deserts and get some vegetation growing on them as soon as possible. But the method is much more complex than that. You have to use the prevailing trade winds in relation to the deserts to get the best results as quickly as possible and it will be extremely expensive.

Then we build desalination plants along the coast near these water sheds and pipe water to the tops or ridges of the water sheds

This will do a number of things. First, it will increase the moisture in the desert soil so that it will develop water tables and water will begin to run in the streams. This water will increase the amount of vegetation in the area and decrease the amount of heat being generated by sun light cooling the watered area and all areas down wind of the watered area. As more available water evaporates, it will cool the air and reflect more sun light back out into space cooling the area even more. Cooler and more humid air will have less of a heating effect on areas down wind and will reflect more sun light back into space in those areas cooling areas we won't be watering yet. Cooler and more humid air will also have less of a warming effect on our seas and oceans.

Rain water running off of cooler soil will decrease the heating effect on our oceans and our planet crusts which will decrease catastrophic storm activities for other areas and seismic activity for the entire planet. Also, returning more ocean water to the surface and aquifers of our continents will lower the sea levels providing more usable land for us to farm and build on.

With cooler desert areas and increasing vegetation, less water will evaporate from our deserts increasing the amount of surface water even more and increasing the amount of vegetation and animal life by huge amounts because deserts currently take up more than 20% of our land surface. Populations will be able to spread out and there will be less competition for existing land areas.

This strategy has to be done in steps with the first step being to begin slowing the rate at which our global warming is increasing. We need to focus on that until we have brought it to a point to where the temperature is not increasing any more and is reasonably stable. While we are doing this, we need to come to a global consensus of just how cool we want to cool our planet down to. If we cool it down too much, we will begin to have devastatingly harsh winters in large populated areas and even cause an ice age to set in.

Then we begin cooling the planet down to a point which will be most beneficial for all countries or the planet as a whole. We need to gradually bring the temperature down because there may be a lag effect in which the planet will continue cooling after we stop increasing our efforts to cool it off more. We may even want to stop cooling the planet once or twice before we reach our targeted temperatures to see if there is a lag effect

We need to start working on this as soon as possible because, if the planet reaches a point to where it is warming faster than our technology can possibly stop or reverse this warming trend, then our planet is lost and all life will cease to exist on this planet within a relatively short period of time. We will need to start with the largest and hottest deserts because cooling them will have the greatest benefit in the least time (Global Warming II by biologist Carl Cantrell).

What is not so well known is that there is an ancient Islamic prediction that fits with this nicely....... especially at a time in history when there are seven hundred and ten trillion dollars in the worldwide Derivatives markets.

There are these promised, I read those too, and believe them, but these are of a later time, which I was not speaking of, and these things do not mean there won't be the consequences we would see that I was saying we would face when we would not change anything from what we contribute to in this world. But we could be making changes, for it to not go as badly. There will be accountability, I am sure, of those who make no such changes. Ultimately Christ returns, and then under Christ's rule, with those people having work as Christ gives for them, there will be the restoration in this world, and those prophecies will be fulfilled later. They won't just happen while we contribute to what has the world, God's creation which God owns and we were supposed to be stewards to, worsen, we would still live through that. We don't have to be contributing to it still.

Well a minority view, which is what this as far as I know singular composition is, would have to be a bit more compelling with facts and not have any of the spelling mistakes that suggest it was not edited. I can agree that stopping desertification, which is ongoing at present, that more of land without plant growth is having growth of plenty of vegetation for ground cover, would really help, but it should already be happening then, it is so urgent now, if we can do anything, and I doubt one approach is enough, even with all doing such. I see living free of civilization could be of value to help, but just living in caves while all the people there are would still use animals, such as hunting if animal agriculture is not used anymore, is still not sustainable at all. If all lived without civilization, and had what is needed growing from vegetation, our numbers would still need to come down but that would be the best we could do for living in the way things won't worsen. But without great change by many, this world will see horrible change that is critical, and this is what studies show as far as they can, and not me just being pessimistic, but speaking for positive changes we can and we should make, as such things are really needed. I see as I said that these consequences of our choices are not what God says he will deliver us from, believers have already gone through worse things than what we have yet seen. God will deliver believers in the world from the coming judgment on those in the world for the wickedness and destructiveness without repentance, according to what God said. But that will be later.

However, this whole talk of the temple somehow stabilizing the Earth's environmental climate is silly. The temple may help smooth the political climate somewhat (if it is not built over the Dome of the Rock), but there is no guarantee it would.

I am not saying anything to personally diminish Pastor David Wilkerson. Yet how do you expand the idea that money can become available to anything including how things should be dealt with now for changing deserts to fertile blossoming plains? How is money becoming available for that seem to be working out now? I think doing things to live in more sustainable ways, which we can do now, is much more obtainable, and should not be dismissed. The Isaiah 35 passages are really of a messianic future, as I see and you might be able to see. There really can be this change when Christ returns and enforces the needed changes to restore this world from all the ruin we have been doing to it, which Yahweh hates, Revelation 11:18.
