The OCA, the Greek Archdiocese and even the Antiochians use a much better translation that is more charitable .... more affirmative with no negative renunciations except to renounce the devil.

Armenians were never monophysites, We always defined the nature of Christ this way:“there is one nature of the Word (of God) made flesh” these are the exact words of Saint Cyril and the council of Ephesus, which the fourth council rejected.
This is why we say we are orthodox because we never changed EO have changed their teachings. they stopped belief in the primacy of the Roman Pope.
The 4th council also contradicts the 2nd council.

This is why I see The Armenian church as orthodox.
I would agree with jamesh definition: “"o" orthodoxy is relative to the group or person it is describing (whichever it may be) used to mean, basically, conforming to established doctrine, especially in religion (Webster's).”
Armenians are the ancient way. We were the first nation to accept Christianity.

afterall to be protestant is to be separated from the christian church and if you still have the apostolic lines then you aren't really separated at all.

Also incorrect. If you are a Protestant you are separated from Rome, who is separated from the Church. Apostolic lines (even if valid) are a necessary but not sufficient condition of being in communion with the Church.

It reflects the historical position of the Holy Orthodox Church. No one can get offended at it without being offended at the Orthodox Church's very existence.
