Tcampan:

Maybe all people could find a reason to be moral NOW. But where did morality start, or more correctly continue on Earth. Not from man but God. Maybe my "Theory" was flawed, but the truth of what I was trying to say was was not. If we were just here on Earth, why would anyone of been moral. It wouldnt of been their instinct, and supposudly everybody back then fallowed their instinct. It wouldnt be logical. And how would they even know what right and wrong were. And for those who now are moral (other words do right), if not because of God than they are moral for the wrong reason, which is wrong. So in fact you cant be moral unless you are doing it for and because of God. For he has called us to do right. Now if your not a christian and you pick up someones pencil off the floor for them, that is still right, but the person is not moral. Though I'm not ignorant enought to say that I'm moral. I'm no more moral that Osama Bin Ladin. I'm no better than him also. But I have a relationship with God (a christian) therefore God had, has, and will forgive my imoral actions. As for the most moral person on the Earth only once been imoral (which allways happens and more that once) is a sinner and deserves like ME to be thrown in hell. And as for Osama Bin Ladin he could forsake his ways and come to Christ and there will be no greater or lesser among us.

I hope this revised is a little less flawed and some what on the point, though it strays from topic a little

Osiris, it seems that you have posed questions that Christians don't like to answer honestly. They not only engage in religion as insurance, and out of fear , they think it makes them morally superior to those who don't live in fear, and don't need insurance, amazing isn't it?

The inability to deal logically with any hard questions regarding their beliefs is perfectly demonstrated with the above post. Not only does this poster not understand that people throughout the ages obviously behaved in "moral" ways, or with a code of ethics long before religion came along, they cannot even grasp that to not have done so would have ended our species long before now. Christians, and other religionists, are so used to being told what to think that they seem to lose any ability to think for themselves not long out of Sunday school.

how does that make me a spoiled sport just because believing in God makes you happy?
On the other hand, why does believing in God make you happy?
Because he will give you eternal life?
By Job I think you've got it!!!

Would you still believe(or love) in God if he just gave you this life, but left you to die even if you believed in him or not? (just think of this, and answer this honestly in your heart)
Sure, but it wouldn't matter would it? If it weren't for Him I wouldn't have THIS life, if that were all I could have.

From the looks of it, christians are only interested in salvation, the reward God's love brings. is this really love?
As opposed to a God that doesn't save us and lets us die in our sins and go to hell?
John 15:13 Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends.
Jeremiah 31:3 Yea, I have loved thee with an everlasting love.
1 John 4:19 We love him, because he first loved us.
Of course it's really love.
to think that life is only worth it if you live forever, wanting more than what you have been given, isn't this spoilage?
If it's wrong to want eternal life, then God is tempting the whole world to sin. I think not.
