Hi, I am an older single adult christian woman looking to move to the Eugene, OR area........Can anyone tell me a little about it? Preferably someone around my age, in my same situation.
Churches, people, the weather, housing?

I am a little worried about the lack of sunshine there, I must admit but coming from WI u don't get alot of it there either.....LOL.

I am also considering CO!

I'm not your same age, or in your same situation, but I live about 2 hours south-west of Eugene and my family and I go there several times a year for various things. The weather is somewhat rainy, in the winter sometimes Eugene gets some snow, though not very much and it normally melts within a day or two. Summers are nice there, warm and sunny, but not too warm, high 70s I would say. Eugene is kind of know of as a hippie town. There are a lot of enviromentalists there. Churches, there are lots. The city has a population of around 150,000. It's a really nice city, and we've considered moving there, the job opportunities are almost endless, but it's a bit too big of a city for me. I'm more of a small town girl. ;) Hope that helps. If you want any more specific information, maybe I can try to help you!

Not to sound rude, but I'm a tad confused. You say you're from WI, but another post of yours says you're from NC. Huh?
I am from WI, lived there all my life, moved to NC 12yrs ago.......and I am trying to compare the weather there in OR, with the weather in WI. Because I thought maybe they were similar, or maybe close weatherwise.
