Would a Christian theocracy be bad or good?

I genuinely would like to know the Pros and Cons.

.
Do you mean like ISIS or Iraq?

No very bad idea, when you put power into the hands of men they abuse it.

Power Corrupts, and Absolute Power Corrupts Absolutely.

Look at the Pharisees, it wasn't the People who rejected their Messiah, it was the Pharisees.

What was the cause of the Reformation,........ Christian Unity?

There aren't any Pro's to you question.

It would be really wonderful, if it was run by sinless people.

Realistically, not so good.

Your right. Thats why so many countries have laws prohibiting state religions. A better question to ask is if the Constitution was based on the Bible. I keep hearing people say this and since its bad when politics and religion mix I thought why not just ask a straight forward question and have people give their opinions on it.

Be careful....a week does not go by here on CF where claims are made of sinless perfection in this life. ;)

I think the political sphere and the Church has always had a differentiation in Christianity. There is always the Emperor and the Pope, not a God-Emperor, or Son of Heaven, or Roman Emperor who is also Pontifex Maximus.
This goes back in Jewish history, with a separate king and a high priest (except for a short Hasmonaean period). Even Moses and Aaron were separate. To paraphrase Christ, render unto Caesar, but give unto God what is God's. Only at the Parousia will direct rule by Christ and the saints commence.
As others have pointed out, mixing the two is a bad idea, due to human venality and weakness. Look at the Roundheads, Anabaptist Munster, or the Mediaeval Papacy (Pornokratia, Borgias, Ghuelfs, et al.). It tends to the corrupt and tyrannical, as any theocratic cultic group will show you.

A theocracy would require everyone to embrace a single denominational point-of-view. And if it were significantly wrong, we would all fail together. There would be no freedom of conscience.
Yes but only when the King of kings returns!
That will be the Thearchy, not a theocracy.

We are to walk as believers and be influenced by the holy spirit every day. That includes Christian politicians. So our beliefs should impact us on how we act. That includes politicians.

However, a christian theocracy would be run by imperfect people. Trying to mix the church and government as a RULING force has never gone well because if that. Pride and power and religion are a really horrible mix. We can't even agree on church doctrines. Look at all the infighting that goes on in this forum. It's not good.

I say leave government to government with Christians being a part of it. And leave Christianity to Christianity. We are most free that way.

I think we have 2,000 years of world history by which to consider what that kind of thing could end up looking like. As long as there are imperfect, sinful people in the world, there will still be imperfect (maybe even sinful) governments, Christians or no Christians.

How will you find out (decide for sure)? Those who are wicked will lie, and say it is truth, and defend it with hundreds or thousands of years of false information which the public (sinners) thought was true. (the public (sinners) which are society in general and overall are still subject to the prince of the power of the air, the devil, and not set free from sin and death and the power of the world and the power of the flesh yet) .
God is not a man that He could lie. He is absolute True and Faithful.

but nobody expected that
Yahweh did. Yahweh's Word in fact foretold it, that the false apostate church would not lift a finger to help anyone, but would slaughter the sheep, and would cross an ocean and a desert to make one convert that would be twice as bad as themselves.
