Worst Virus Ever?

What was the worst computer virus ever, in your opinion?

I honestly don't know, but I would say CodeRed, 'cause it affected more servers than the others (as far as I know). If a server goes down, you have more problems than if simply one personal computer goes down.

I would say it is one called "GIGGER" that basically blows up your hard disk(s) and deletes your OS. You have to reformat and reinstall everything

It hasn't hit my sister's computer yet, and I hope it does not while I'm using it: or I could never be allowed to use her computer again

I second Windows. Who needs viruses when you have to re-install that OS on a regular basis anyway?

I seem to recall working until 1AM cleansing the network at my last job of the Melissa virus.

code red, cause its still out there and spreeding, and for people that have netbios open and iis installed they are probably already got code red.  Code Red will never go way.

Depends. It would probably be one of the popularized viruses if you're talking about actual, widespread damage. If you're asking about the virus that I'd least like to have, it would be whatever my a friend of mine got. A 'static bomb' of some sort; fried his computer it did.

LoL.    I second that.  Windows is the only virus I've heard of that can be attacked by other viruses.  LoL.
