I've never understood the rapture in the context of babies anyways. Aren't little ones supposed to go to heaven if they die before adulthood? So wouldn't they be among the saved? Yet I'm pretty sure there are more than 144,000 kids in the world...
144,000 isn't the number of people who will be raptured, that number refers to something else. And no, there is nothing in the Bible that indicates that children will be exempt from their sin, in fact there are places that explicitly state the opposite.

That was when the earth was under-populated. now it is over-populated.

what does population have to do with the original command to be fruitful and multiply? I don't see any recinding of the original command.

two will be working in a field, one will be taken, the other left. dont believe it? then God won't take you.

every single one who is spose to be saved will be saved, with no real christian left behind.

Did you just contradict yourself here, or are you suggesting that "real christians" must believe in a "rapture"? :p

real christians believe in what Christ said. he said that some would be taken and others left. the real christians taken, the unbelievers left to suffer the tribulation. Christ would not have said to pray that we are counted worthy to escape the tribulation if there wasn't a rapture.

Does God protect His people THROUGH tribulations or from them? Did He protect Noah THROUGH the flood or from it? Did He protect His people THROUGH bondage in Egypt or from it?

Yes, one will be taken and the other one left...but left to what?

2 Thessalonians 2:8 - And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming:

Left to be destroyed by the brightness of His coming!

Revelation 20:5 - But the rest of the dead lived not again until the thousand years were finished. This is the first resurrection.

There will definitely be a tribulation, but God will protect His people THROUGH it, not from it.

My favorite verse in the Bible...Isaiah 25:9 - And it shall be said in that day, Lo, this is our God; we have waited for him, and he will save us: this is the LORD; we have waited for him, we will be glad and rejoice in his salvation.
