All you need to know is that Bible Only Christians " not lukewarm or lutheran, methodist,Catholic etc." no matter who they are are against it. The reason why is because the Bible says its an abomination-abominations are never supposed to think of things.

The Bible or God didn't say "all sins are equal" - annoying man made quote. That's a sinful but helpful way to help unsaved. It's sinful because you are telling a murderer that that sin is as equally as thinking about making a prank on a sibling. The murderer decides to still kill people cause it's as equal as such a little thing. All applies to everyone. All abomination are equal.

Lying, Gay and Murdering are abominations. Lying is a huge one. You could put 100 people to death because of that mouth.

There are degrees of sins that can be forgiven by just a simple please forgive me, Jesus" All sins can be forgiven equally but they are not all equal in badness.

Sparkle Dazzle, while I appreciate your intentions to eradicate the confrontational threads, I have to disagree with the opinion that some sins are worse than others. We are all murderers. Our sins, from little to extreme, sent the most innocent and blameless individual to die a convicted felon's death. Jesus Christ was killed for our sins. Our sins put Him on that cross. Our sins make us murderers and for that we deserve death, but instead God says "that was my pardon for your sins, if you're willing to accept the gift." Gossip to abortion, apathy to homosexuality, lying to stealing - all of those sins nailed Jesus to the cross. As humans, we base serverity of actions by degrees when God sees them all the same. They ALL separate us from our Heavenly Father.

God loves you but hates the sin. He thinks sins are different but it doesn't affect the way he thinks about you.

Jesus dies for our sins doesn't make them all the same.

God said he see's "us" all the same! When did he say he sees all sins the same.

It's obvious that some sins feel worse than others. I feel more guilty from lying than from thinking of throwing a hard snowball at my Dad.

Badness scale is immature. Ask God.

So if our sins vary on levels of severity, does God see some of our works better than others? No. All of our works are as filthy rags in God's eyes. Yes, some sins carry greater consequences but they are all the same to God with the exception of blasphemy against the Holy Spirit, which the Bible calls the only unpardonable sin. I don't think you're making random predictions, perhaps just not thoroughly reading the Scriptures? Or perhaps you've been taught differently. The fact that some sins cause greater devestation does not mean they are different in God's eyes. The way we "rate" sins is based upon our human nature. In essence, as sinful beings, we do not see things the way God does. For example:

Your best friend lies to you about having a boyfriend. Sure, you are hurt, angry, and disappointed but are willing to forgive her when she asks for your forgiveness.

Scenario #2:
Your best friend spreads a harmful rumor about you that completely ruins your reputation. You may find greater difficulty in forgiving her for that particular transgression.

We are not God. Only He possesses the infinte ability to forgive all of our transgressions. From murder to slander, He forgives them all and holds no ill will against us if we ask His forgiveness and repent. Our worldly consequences will vary, but God forgives us nonetheless.

Homosexuality was not the only sin that destroyed Sodom and Gomorah. Idolatry, incest, beastiality, etc. were also practiced. It was a myriad of sins that brought them down, not just homosexuality.

I'm not going to treat a homosexual worse than a liar just because the world says their sin is worse than lying. Obviously we have laws in place that protect those who are sinned against without their consent, rape, murder, theft, etc. but aside from that, we are to hate all sin little to big.

I already said that no one is different because of sins!! I am saying that the Bible said some sins are abominations and it makes them sins that no one should think of. Doesn't make anyone worse, better or more loved! It just makes us know we are supposed to watch out for those sins!

I see why you agree with all sins are equal. Those judgers!! They are so annoying and rude but God doesn't judge so he doesn't need to make all sins equal to help him stop judging . It's sort of wrong to say what God is thinking. I don't judge people really either I see everyone equal but the sins saying all are equal is dangerous. I truly believe you are helping Satan. It makes us think we can do anything and they all get the same punishment. It messes with your head.

How do you not understand what I said? It's so clear! All people are equal, and no better than anyone. Why do sins need to be all equal? People are all important equally why sins?

I would like to tell myself never in my whole life can I catch myself doing that. Like murdering instead of saying to yourself if I murder it's equal as everything else so I have nothing to worry about.
It makes you feel good at a time you should feel guilty
