I've never understood people that marry military with Christianity. And the devotion to military comes off as a fetish for death and destruction, yet in the same breath these people lament this country being pro-choice. I find such a position very bizarre.

I think what's really going on here is that the far right wing of the party is finally being marginalized and as a result they are growing even more unhinged as they see their politcal power going down the toilet. For the first time on over 20 years the republicans have picked a candidate despite the fringe of the party.

Of course, anyone who was remotely paying attention saw this coming as the far right continually failed to follow up to its promises.

QFT. I am not particularly a Hillary fan, but I too would love to see an explanation of this opinion among conservatives. In particular because she herself has not been in favor of gay marriage, historically.
