Worst Openings, EVER?

What would be the worst opening to any anime you've seen so far?


I'll start us off... *sighs* YET AGAIN... Kuromitsu [so far]! It sounds like some punk rocker guy screaming.

the YuGioh openings (USA) are pretty bad.
Some of the Pokemon (US) openings are pretty pathetic too compared to their Japanese Counter parts.

Midway through Ruroni Kenshin, their's this one opening where a girl sings an irritating high-pitched voice. Some RK themes are pretty good, but they struck out big time with that one.

Dragon Ball Z [Canadian version]... boring and gives me the urge to switch the TV OFF , or put in a DVD of something better... or say "meh.." and play Half-Life.

You mean the "Rock the Dragon" opening? Horrifically cheesy, but I get a bit nostalgic over it at times. Or do you mean one of the others? Funimation redid an intro for their re-release of the series with some lame rapping, otherwise I thought the only other opening used was the original Japanese "Cha-La Head-Cha-La" or a localized translation thereof.

Any anime that gets purchased by 4Kids is destined to have a crappy opening, among other things (crappy voice acting, bad editing, etc.)

These include, but not limited to, One Piece, Yu-Gi-Oh! (Trap card!! Oh noes!!), Pokemon, etc.

You mean the "Rock the Dragon" opening? Horrifically cheesy, but I get a bit nostalgic over it at times. Or do you mean one of the others? It's not that one . That one's GOOD compared to the other one. I'll post the link next time i'm online.

Americanized shows= garbage. Avoid Fox and CW like the plague.

LOL. Yeah...YuGioH ain't particularly my favorite opening...
The Poke'mon ones...after the first season seemed to be a reprise of the original Pokemon theme, except with different arrangements and changed-around lyrics.

"Rock the Dragon", you mean that rock intro to DBZ? I thought that was pretty cool....:-/

ha ha, anyway, I agree with you, aside from One Piece. I know it's a cheesy opening, but I kinda like it for that.
