How about we take that, and I add some too it (to try to make it worse), where once you have 'broken' people you breed them so you will have more people to torture. Also, you don't all them to die, giving them just enough food and drink to live. Also when one does die, well lets just say you end up supplementing some meat into the other's diets.

Or does that last part fit into the torture to begin with?

Why would the number of people suffering make a difference? I suppose you could argue that someone who harms many people is more disturbed or sick than someone who harms a few, but other than that *shrug*

All the other things you add here just amount to additional torture, or else they are irrelevant. For example, the consumption of human flesh would only make the situation worse if someone (either eaters or victims' loved ones) had knowledge of its occurrence, in which case it would amount to mental torture.
