World's Biggest...Muscle Car? (^-^)

Would you say the 7th gen T-Bird, was perhaps the biggest muscle car of all time?

1972-76 Thunderbird

Just always had this thought seeing Jack Cassidy chasing Clint Eastwood in The Eiger Sanction (1975) movie, lol.

I had a 72 T-Bird back in 73-80.

I had a 73 but I'd say they are more of a luxury cruiser even with it's 429cu in engine.

am surprised how anyone could call an early 70s t bird a muscle car. I guess the defination has been well diluted over time and can vary. So, with that said, how are you defining a 'muscle car'?

In true definition a muscle car, or super car is a mid sized car with a full size performance engine. Pontiac started in 1964 by offering the GTO. It was a mid sized car with a full sized engine. Others had offered performance models and engines prior to that of course ( including Pontiac ) but, the GTO started the trend and every US auto manufacuturer copied its success with in a few years ( except caddy ).
