  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

From the Online Prayer Event on the 22nd January:

Here are the prayer points from this evening’s webinar:

  • For Bangladesh - converts who are most at risk of persecution, for communities experiencing greater restrictions, violent attacks and discrimination and for Open Doors partners coming alongside to encourage and strengthen them.
  • For Bangladeshi believers who risk everything to be salt and light to their communities and persecutors.
  • For political stability in Bangladesh, and that Christians will be seen as ambassadors of God’s love and peace.
  • For the persecuted church to be strengthened in their faith and to continue to be salt and light in their communities
  • For the persecutors, particularly leaders of extremist groups, that they would meet Jesus and be transformed by his love
  • For the government and foreign office to understand the importance of FORB (Freedom Of Religion or Belief - the Minister for this is a Christian)
  • For new Christian MPs – that the Lord will show them how to stand strong in their faith in their new roles. (That is UK MP's election was last summer).
  • For peace in Sudan this year and an end to the terrible conflict. For protection, comfort and provision for Christians who have no safe place to go.
Thank you for praying and continuing to stand with our persecuted family.
