  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

I agree, but I have a problem. I usually avoid films that I know are "tear-jerkers", and this is sure to be a "heartbreaker" on a major scale! Even the trailer chokes me up. Definately looks awesome though,no doubt about that.

Oh I can't wait to see that movie. I know it'll be a tear jerker though. ( Just knowing that it really did happen is what makes you cry. If it had just been a fiction movie it wouldn't have been so bad. ) Also if you haven't seen it you should watch the movie Flight 93. That was a good one, but I cried a lot during it.

There are so many aspects of such a film project as this. How they managed to go through all the options is amazing. This has to be a repeat movie for me to analyze and think about.

This event is permanently burned into the American psyche and every impression and consideration regarding it will be important and valuable.

Every preview I have seen already informs of its depth and perspectives.

Very true about how less effective this film would be,if it was fiction! Thanks for the heads up about Flight 93. :)

I saw the previews on tv the other day and I knew that I will have to see it but I can wait till its out on DVD. The feeling that went thru my mind watching the previews was I neeed to watch this as respect to those who died. Might sound silly to some but that thought went thru my mind.

Same with Flight 93.

I dont know if I will be able to handle watching the film. I really would like to see it, but I think I would boo hoo from the beginning to the end. The trailers put funny feelings in my stomach. Just seeing the part when Nicholas Cage says "Run!" put me right back on that day.

Eh, I can live not to see it. For some reason, I can't see a 9/11 movie for something to be pay homage to the tragedy; but rather just taking the incident to try and get box office gold. I can't get around that cynical feeling, and that's probably what will keep me from seeing this movie, or any other movie like it. *shrug*

After re-thinking how affected I still am by this,(the tsunami, hurricane Rita, and the Asian earthquake),I have decided no way do I want to re-live that horror,so someone can make money off it! Neither will I watch Flight 93. I think I would rather play over and over again Anne Murray's "A Little Good News Today".
