I started a job on Monday.. and it is hard.
Monday-Friday: 8am-5pm
Saturday: 8am-3pm

I am standing all day. I bought work boots Saturday. Today I got these heel cups that are shock absorbers.... My back hurt today so much I started crying. It is a job I have until August 28th and I want to stay with it. (My mom works there too, which makes it hard for me to back out of it). I tried many other places and I had no success, so this is the job I will stay with. It will probably be a job I can get every summer for as long as I want it.

Saturdays are supposed to be the busiest days. I just need some strength to get to Saturday, and to get through Saturday. I have just been coming home from work, eating, relaxing and then going to bed. I am trying so hard to keep my energy level up.

Dear Father, be with this girl as she is starting in a new work environment. Strengthen her body so she will be able to withstand the rigors of the work without enduring pain. Father, give her guidance on ways to reduce the pain and give her the fortitude to stick with the job and learn from it to better her in later years. Thank You for giving her this opportunity and make it physically bearable and a learning experience. Be with her mother, Dear Lord, as she guides this child and make her burden light as well. Lord, I pray that you would be with Carebear as she goes through this new job. I pray that you would give her endurance and stamina to last through the week. I pray that you would not only get her through Saturday, but that you would leave her with energy and joy at the end of the day. God let her know that in You, we dont have to just "get by." We are more than conquerors against anything that may come up against us, including the difficulty of this job! Jesus, just help her, and remind her during the day that you are right by her side.
