The problem with working with non-Christians is that they don't believe in the Bible verse, "Out of the heart the mouth speaks" (my own paraphrase). People can say something nasty and then justify it with "I don't mean what I said. You're wrong if you think I mean what I said." This of course, leads to many rude comments not being addressed properly. It's really hard not to bring it to a manager's attention, but then again, people would think you're "tattletaling" like a kid and blame you for doing that as though you are the problem. Whatever... I don't believe that these rude comments can be said without meaning and without it being problematic.
If you could pray for my work situation, I would appreciate it. I would read your advice if you have any, but I feel that prayer would be better for my specific situation.
